Love tiny half cabins!!! Great for day fishing near the coastline, and good for a night sleeping for two when it's not too cold. Trailerable with no problems, cheap, great fishing space, what else? But a boat like that... well, it's a nightmare :-P

Such a nice looking boat and quite a transformation! I've just bought my first boat and have been looking for inspiration / motivation to get it ready for the coming spring / summer. It's a 14ft day boat from Carrick Marine and has been sat unused for a good few months. I really wanted something with a small cabin (like yours) but this was too good a deal to pass by. Anyway, first challenge is going to be reversing the trailer onto our driveway so that I can start off by giving it a thorough jet wash!

I have had 5 Shetland 535's over the years and they are great boats, well done on doing the windows properly and keeping the steering wheel in the correct position, they are both much better done as standard.
All you need is the windscreen on the top now! 😊

An excellent job mate, very well done indeed! I hope you're proud. I've got one question regarding the captain's seat, how do you see from where you're sitting? Is it a perspective thing or do you have to stand to Pilot? Just wondering but again fantastic job I bet you and the family are going to get a lot of fun with that. Cheers!
