Your work is so precise Tachi. I made one of these that was hinged for different angles but I should have just made it 45° as I don't use other angles. Thanks for sharing

Nice jig that I would need. I love seeing you use recycled materials. I do that too as often as I can. Downside of that is it takes too much storage space in my workshop.

The tops reminded me of school desks even it is very long time I used them. A small business gives me scrap plywood they use for making garden sheds. Sheets are good size for a car but not as good quality as yours. They work for many projects like French cleat tool holders etc. It is quite easy to get free materials here. Thank you for replying my comments every time. I do appreciate that and all the work you do for teaching people. I really hope young people use this opportunity. One question - Since the jig's distance to blade is fixed, can this be used to cut bevels on a specific material thickness or will it work for any thickness? I certainly do admire your work and your sense of what makes a clear and pleasurable video. I wonder where you got the excellent stock for your shop projects. It seems to be from student desks or maybe hospital furniture. I wish I had a stack of it.

Nice jig that I would need. I love seeing you use recycled materials. I do that too as often as I can. Downside of that is it takes too much storage space in my workshop.

The tops reminded me of school desks even it is very long time I used them. A small business gives me scrap plywood they use for making garden sheds. Sheets are good size for a car but not as good quality as yours. They work for many projects like French cleat tool holders etc. It is quite easy to get free materials here.

One question - Since the jig's distance to blade is fixed, can this be used to cut bevels on a specific material thickness or will it work for any thickness? Thanks in advance for the clarification and help.

Yes, plywood of any thickness can be cut at 45 degrees, and it is even more convenient to be able to install it on a cross-cut sled rather than using this jig alone. I hope my English is well communicated to you. Tachi

このジグは素早く４５度を決められないテーブルソーが多い中でとても重宝します、そして正確で安全です。

Ohyo56さん、おはようございます！かなり以前の作品のバージョンアップですね。学校の天板の質感を今回採用した事で、さぞかし重量感と剛性ある作品になったでしょうね。Tスロットもトリマービットで材に直接彫り込み、自作のTスロットのヘッド部分がジャストサイズにスライドするという実に合理的であり経済的な仕様に変更。さらにそこを動く抑えとストッパーの材の模様もピッタリ合っていて美しい作品に仕上がっています。そうそう…スライドする下の部分は、なるほどダボで十分でしたね。我々アマチュア愛好家にとって正確性や美しさも勿論ですが、なるべく安い費用に抑えることで楽しむことも大事。今週も大変参考になりました！ありがとうございます憧れの先生。
