Awesome, you two. I had to part ways with my family in April of 1989. They refused to repent even though my father had been in the ministry for decades. We had to move on and let Jesus show us how to end damaging family strongholds. It's been very challenging, but we have not seen them since. They're very mad at us and can't understand why we don't "honor my parents." They would never understand that we did honor them by following Jesus to give future generations a chance to live free from the impact of religion. There was nothing else I could do but follow Jesus' leading. Jesus has been so faithful to us. Thanks for sharing about your relationship with your mother, Lisa. You don't hear of very many people who do what must be done in some family situations.

The Lord has been breaking the cycle in me of my negative and mean perception I have of my husband. I had finally got uncomfortable and disgusted with my thought life of him and saw how the enemy was using me to keep a cycle going. This was right on time for me. The part that spoke to me was where Lisa said, there was a season where God put a sword between her and her mother. I literally listened to this episode as I dove home from my grandmother’s funeral that my mother asked to ride with me to but I had to tell her no because of her toxicity and seeds of division she dies in the family. It was so hard for me to do especially at this time of loss in our family. I have been tolerating my mother’s narcissistic, abusive behavior for so long and felt that I had to or I wasn’t “walking in love” with her. This was confirmation for me that I made the right decision to end the abuse.

It seemed right but I started feeling restless until Father told me one morning not everything good is from God. Now I know this is exactly what He was saying!! From my experience with an unhealthy cycle in marriage, the Holy Spirit spoke to me to choose life and start making life-giving decisions. It took time, cause I had to make the word of God my own anchor and also the Holy spirit made me realise in my cause of spending time in the word, that every one will give account of their life to God which is found in Romans 14:12. He taught me that I was responsible for my actions, not my husband's actions and that I should stop allowing my husband's actions to cause me to sin. God has been helping me with my decisions. I pray God's help over you in Jesus name. Remain blessed.

I have a horrible cycle with anger and rage. I thought it left me and I was delivered then when I discovered my husband porn addiction (something I was set free from myself I have almost 5 years now) I was enraged. Our marriage has been heavily affected by both things. I need freedom.

How to deal with outside children that could potentially be bad influences and how to handle fits/temper and helping them get prepared for the future?… If so that would be very helpful I’m sure for a lot of followers or even people that God brings across your page. Great Word! It takes a renewing of the mind through the Word of God, it takes The Holy Spirit working in us as we surrender to Christ in Faith, it takes prayer, being transparent before The Lord & allowing the changes to happen IN us. It's not as simple for some people just to say "I will no longer be double minded". There's so many underlying variables why an individual is like that to begin with. Psychology will go only go so far to help. We need Christ, His Word & surrender to the process of allowing that Supernatural Transformation to happen. If you decide on counseling stay away from UN- GODLY counsel. Scripture warns against taking ungodly counsel. Biblically sound counsel through Scripture with strong sound Born Again Believers in Christ is who you want to talk to. To many Christians glamorize & normalize "therapy" as a first resort like Christ's sacrifice on the Cross has no Power & they seek ungodly counseling which is rooted in Humanistic Psychology which is rooted in witchcraft. Please research. And menopause is so serious for women!! It's a rough transition for so many women & it affects women mentally & physically, it affects outlook on life, decision making, etc. So glad menopause is getting more attention in America.

I am 40 years old (wife and mother of 3 young children) and my mom is a bitter woman- she has really hurt me and recently cut me off because of a misunderstanding. I am praying God help her and I’m trying my hardest to forgive her, but is it ok to feel this sad over this? I do NOT want to give the devil a foothold in my life! I love Jesus so much.

Thanks so so much! For years I have been blessed by the ministry. I have one question. At the end Lisa mentioned severing things/relationships and moving on. This one was hard for me because I feel like I am surrounded by people in various parts of my life that give up on relationships, churches, homeschool fellowships, etc. They reach a conflict and the they characterise people as harmful and walk off. They seem to always blame others and don’t try to work out differences but just take offence and walk off. So how do you discern when you have “done everything you can to be at peace” with others and it truly is God’s leading to move on and when is it a time of seeking God, working on things and waiting on God to work in the other people?
I’ve been struggling with the fact that I am dating an unbeliever. Ive prayed about it a lot and was even willing to break up with her if that is what God wanted but I feel like God is telling me to stay with her and continue to speak into her life, but to live out the relationship in Gods way not mine. I am curious of your guys opinion and am seeking any advice.
i am in a similar situation but am called to be moving apart from my partner after a year so that God can work in our lives separately now. if you’re hearing God telling you to stand still, trust Him, live out His will and follow in obedience and speak the gospel into her life by example! ““Whatever you think is best,” Elkanah agreed. “Stay here for now, and may the Lord help you keep your promise.” So she stayed home and nursed the boy until he was weaned.” 1 samuel 1:23 God will enable you to serve and honor Him in this relationship right now. my prayers are with you brother, stand strong in your faith 🕊️
Your feelings are misleading. The Bible says do not be unequally yoked. You’re sealed by the Holy Spirit and she isn’t. What type of demons would you be facing in the walls of your own home by marrying someone who is not sealed? She is a slave to sin. God has called you to freedom. Pray for her and let her go.

I have a horrible cycle with anger and rage. I thought it left me and I was delivered then when I discovered my husband porn addiction (something I was set free from myself I have almost 5 years now) I was enraged. Our marriage has been heavily affected by both things. I need freedom.

Great Word! It takes a renewing of the mind through the Word of God, it takes The Holy Spirit working in us as we surrender to Christ in Faith, it takes prayer, being transparent before The Lord & allowing the changes to happen IN us. It's not as simple for some people just to say "I will no longer be double minded". There's so many underlying variables why an individual is like that to begin with. Psychology will go only go so far to help. We need Christ, His Word & surrender to the process of allowing that Supernatural Transformation to happen. If you decide on counseling stay away from UN- GODLY counsel. Scripture warns against taking ungodly counsel. Biblically sound counsel through Scripture with strong sound Born Again Believers in Christ is who you want to talk to. To many Christians glamorize & normalize "therapy" as a first resort like Christ's sacrifice on the Cross has no Power & they seek ungodly counseling which is rooted in Humanistic Psychology which is rooted in witchcraft. Please research. And menopause is so serious for women!! It's a rough transition for so many women & it affects women mentally & physically, it affects outlook on life, decision making, etc. So glad menopause is getting more attention in America.

I am 40 years old (wife and mother of 3 young children) and my mom is a bitter woman- she has really hurt me and recently cut me off because of a misunderstanding. I am praying God help her and I’m trying my hardest to forgive her, but is it ok to feel this sad over this? I do NOT want to give the devil a foothold in my life! I love Jesus so much.

Ask the holy Spirit to show you where the root of the anger is and then cut it off....

Thanks so so much! For years I have been blessed by the ministry. I have one question. At the end Lisa mentioned severing things/relationships and moving on. This one was hard for me because I feel like I am surrounded by people in various parts of my life that give up on relationships, churches, homeschool fellowships, etc. They reach a conflict and the they characterise people as harmful and walk off. They seem to always blame others and don’t try to work out differences but just take offence and walk off. So how do you discern when you have “done everything you can to be at peace” with others and it truly is God’s leading to move on and when is it a time of seeking God, working on things and waiting on God to work in the other people?
Not enough grace for others. Which means we are also rejecting the grace from God.

I’ve been struggling with the fact that I am dating an unbeliever. Ive prayed about it a lot and was even willing to break up with her if that is what God wanted but I feel like God is telling me to stay with her and continue to speak into her life, but to live out the relationship in Gods way not mine. i am in a similar situation but am called to be moving apart from my partner after a year so that God can work in our lives separately now. if you’re hearing God telling you to stand still, trust Him, live out His will and follow in obedience and speak the gospel into her life by example! ““Whatever you think is best,” Elkanah agreed. “Stay here for now, and may the Lord help you keep your promise.” So she stayed home and nursed the boy until he was weaned.” 1 samuel 1:23 God will enable you to serve and honor Him in this relationship right now. my prayers are with you brother, stand strong in your faith 🕊️
Your feelings are misleading. The Bible says do not be unequally yoked. You’re sealed by the Holy Spirit and she isn’t. What type of demons would you be facing in the walls of your own home by marrying someone who is not sealed? She is a slave to sin. God has called you to freedom. Pray for her and let her go.
