Very emancipating talk. Thank you!! Especially the concern about spiritual teachings. While I relate very much with spiritual, even Vedanta-based teachings, I always cringe at statements that say 'you are not the body'. Somehow, I always berated myself for this discomfort - this is the ego, this is attachment and identification, I would tell myself, imposing the values of the texts I read on myself. Though I do understand that what is being suggested is a more encompassing principle, of which the body is surely an expression... Even it's realisation. Also the tension described between ambition and surrender was so on point!
I am delighted in my body to hear this deep, beautiful and clear analysis and practice. Thanks Navteji for taking the time.
