My god, the tall guy and shorter girl at the end of the vid should NEVER stop. They are pure lightning to watch and their faces are full of joy. I don't know jack about dance, but this type of dance strikes me as having pure American origins. It is almost like a fusion of swing, charleston, tap, jazz, and god knows what..which is typically us, a big hot ass mess of a good time. I have to say one thing, to really look the part, the guys do need to be in dress shoes, vests, and dress pants and most definitely, the women in skirts and heels. I am not a sexist, but DAMN....those things most definitely add to the authenticity, like from my grandparents generation when they were young that I have seen in pictures. Each time I have viewed this fun video I can't help thinking about those youthful illegal exploits. It's built in us to dance even to the point of arrest and jail.
