Nice big camping spots. Cool that it wasn't too busy after Labor Day. Fossil hunt sounds interesting. You should use the clip of Christy ringing the bell as part of your ending in every video. It could be part of your signature ending.

Caesar creek campground is new to me. When I joined the USN in 1960 as far as I know it did not exist. I know that it has been used for the Vandervort family reunion. Another park that did not exist when I lived in Ohio is huston wood state park near Oxford, Ohio. Ohio has been busy. I left Ohio 59 years ago so a lot has changed.
It’s our favorite and in our neighborhood. We were there last weekend as well. Glad you enjoyed it! They’ve been upgrading the restrooms. Loop F where you stayed hasn’t been done yet.
They always have activities going on. If you check out the schedule, they will do kayak tours of the lake then it is free to use the canes or kayaks. The Ranger is awesome and she does excellent hikes! The other beach is MUCH better you do have to drive over to the other side by the marina, Pioneer Village has events a couple of times a year I think that is the only time they make money, The cat is always there such a sweetie! Wish I knew you were in my area. The marine is beautiful great place to grab some ice cream and watch the sunset!
We think that becouse it was after Labor Day there were not as many activities going on, the kayak tour would have been fun to do. Thanks for the tip on the other beach. Great review. Thanks for the info about the restrooms too. We won't need them, but if restrooms are not taken care of it could indicate how the whole park is taken care of. Most of the reviews I have been reading have mentioned issues with the restrooms, but the park is great otherwise.
when is the sauerkraut fest? Where did you get that flag pole at? Wow, that visitors center has really changed since the last time we were out there (ancient history, we still had our 91 popup and the kids were still small they have been out on their own for about 20 years). Did i hear you say that you were in a newer loop?
We bought the flag pole at the fall craft show held at Indian Lake SP. I bet the Visitors Center has changed alot in 20 yrs. t's very nice, they had alot of caterpillars changing into butterflies when we were there. As far I know F loop is not new.

Loved the big lits at this campground. To bad the village didn't have the buildings open. The swing bridge reminded me of the one in Mohican Park.
