A few questions and sorry if you've already answered these in previous videos. Here goes. 1) did you go to university as can't tell so far from your videos, or do you plan to go? 2) when and where did you and Emilia meet as again I can't tell from the videos (so far) if you met whilst travelling? 3) do you finance your travelling from RUclips or do you work periodically to keep your funds topped up? 4) do you plan to travel and do RUclips indefinitely or will you go back to the UK and do the traditional university/job/career/house thingy? So yes I’ll be honest it’s not super safe but lots of people do it you just have to be very careful and wear a helmet. The traffic is crazy so try practice in a less busy part of the island first

Nice beach. Those are probably volcanic rocks. Unavoidable as it is a volcanic island. The whole country has volcanoes.

@@Joelfriend yes the ring of fire. Even the philippines. Volcanoes create and destroy. They can create beautiful islands, but eruption destroy life and properties and landscape.

Landing at the airport where do you suggest to go first for a solo backpacker?
That depends entirely on what it is you want out of your Bali experience. Canggu is where most people head to first, Seminyak/Kuta I wouldn't suggest but you're also close to Uluwatu from the airport... Which doesn't seem to yet be quite as mental as Canggu is at the moment. If you're looking to meet people as a solo backpacker, probably go to Canggu and stay at a hostel where you can meet others and plan some adventures from there. ✌️
Yeah I agree Canggu is the best place to meet people as a solo traveller, the farm hostel is a great place to meet people a more expensive hostel but really great and bound to meet lots of people there too
I would avoid Kuta like the plague.
My friend suggested ubud as she has been there 6 times. There must be a reason for that.

As indonesian i feel ashame with our people who dont really care about the green environment, those who did the trashing were mostly from the less educated domestic tourists from the other islands not balinese..so pitty. I think the local government should act more decisively by imposing heavy fines for those who dont comply with the rules.

yah permasalahan indonesia adalah sampah. karena masyarakat indonesia bingung harus membuangnya kemana. karena dari pihak pemerintah setempat tidak disediakan tempat sampah. apabila masyarakat membuat tempat sampah. itu akan menggunung berbulan bulan. karena pemerintah setempat tidak ada rutinitas untuk menarik sampah.
Aku setuju. Tidak ada banyak tempat sampah di Bali! Pemerintah harus lakukan sesuatu tentang masalah ini.

Entah buat apa APBD dari duit pajak hotel2 dan bisnis di Bali, harusnya digunakan untuk penataan kenyamanan wisatawan karena itu investasi jangka panjang agar wisatawan nyaman ke Bali
Cadangan: pulau bali 6 kali saiz singapura. Mungkin boleh guna teknologi bakar sampah terkawal atau incinerator. Hasilnya ada tenaga letrik dan bahan sisa boleh guna sebagai baja. Kita ada konsep loji mesin bakar macam ini tetapi masih belum luas digunakan. Ujian eksperimen sedang dijalankan. Harap banyak pulau boleh gunakan cara tersebut.

I just checked online 1 British pound is about almost 20k rupiahs. So 20 pounds roughly equals to 400k rupiahs.
Do you have any idea how much food or stuffs in general an indonesian can get with that kind of money? A LOT ..some even live on 400k rupiahs A MONTH !
My advice to anyone coming to bali is this. Don't be shy to haggle. Remember for one dollar that you as a foreigner pay an indonesian usually pay about a third, a forth or even a fifth of what you're paying.
