The T.50s will go down in history as one of the most sort after cars. What an engineering Masterpiece!!!!!!!!!!!
I hope some of these great cars get used, not just stored.
A few laps of Ascari, away from cameras, I fear will be above average for these. I wish a few more were made to demo races and race series. A wildcard LeMans entry. Can the thing last? It would be up there at the front with the Hypercars, just faster in the bend, maybe slower on the straights. Although, with modest wing angle it may even be faster overall. It's soooo much lighter than Hypercars.
Goodwood surely?? 🙏
Exactly 👍🏻
Well said 🙏🏻
…sadly they won’t…
A travesty.
Gordon is without a doubt my favourite automotive engineer- pure racing inspired and derived.. Horacio is more like art meets science, and Christian is a bit mad scientist trying all sorts of oddities- to great effect- with interesting and fast cars, but nobody beats Gordon's F1 knowledge.
I LOVE this, i will NEVER be able to afford any of these cars, but absolutely love the craftmanship and drive behind it. Its truly (and sadly) the last generation of TRUE sports/supercars.
Seeing that track list and remembering some of those races was profound. This is not just a car, it is a historically significant automotive project.
I always love to watch those kind of videos, since they are more of a engineering class rather than a simple video about the car's development. And who better to give all that info rather than Gordon Murray himself? He has such an enviable curriculum of previous projects, ranging from F1 cars to road cars, and having his knowledge (or at least part of it) acessible for free here on YT is something that engineering students like me can only thank for having it. I wish one day I could visit GMA's HQ on Surrey, I hope you guys are open for tourists!🙃
Happy New Year GMA. I wish your videos were longer. I can't get enough
That livery story. I almost cried. No manufacturer does this. I'm flabbergasted with every vid.
We’re not even into a first full day of the 2024 new year and GMA are already on it! WOW! What a car and I can’t wait to see more development and vids!
Many thanks!
…. yes same here
I just love it when the humans drive their creativity to perfection :)
I'll certainly never drive and almost certainly never see one of these in the wild, but I'm really enjoying watching Gordon's dream being brought to life. Great presenting work by Dario!
Slight correction on the pitot tube. The difference between dynamic pressure at the pitot tube and the static pressure is used to calculate speed through a fluid. Altitude is calculated using only the static pressure in the altimeter.
Another quick correction - dynamic pressure (speed) is measured by differencing pitot (total) and static pressure
The infinite knowledge and wisdom of Gordon never seizes to amaze me. The GMA cars are truly science and art combined into it's purest form. Happy New Year - looking forward to follow the development process of the new cars.
It must be truly special to be able to create a car with no limitations to engineering or design, no restrictions to meet and then to put your name on it. You can see how proud this man is of his work and absolutely rightly so. It’s truly awesome. And it’s British.
Gordon Murray really is the last engineer to make us dream.
I would add Koenigsegg to that short list :)
- 5% of downforce just for the mirros ...that says so much of how perfect is this car and how any change can "disturb" this perfection. Greetings form Italy to a genius of the automotive industry 👏🙌
This car is a masterpiece. Pushing as close to perfection as possible.
Greatest car brand ever
Gordon Murray, builder of dreams... 🙏💗💯
These videos will be watched for many years to come. Thank you Gordon, GMA, and Dario!
I really appreciate that you guys are putting together these videos! It's been a privilege to watch as these cars go through development, learning about their systems and design. Thanks for giving every car lover the chance to share the experience of watching these truly special machines come to life!
All fantastic and well n good... But how about a few 30 minute vids of a T50 or 33 lapping some Spanish - or Italiano track. Take us plebes for a ride; please.
thank for first time gordon murray anytime new T.50 mechanical dynamic it very happy drive true.
Who will be brave enough....and rich enough to enter LeMans with this thing of beauty.
It is so lovely to have the man himself talk about the car coming from a huge pool of knowledge and expertise and everything explained so rationally and logically. The car is just awsome no other way to describe it. Engineering and design at its v best alongside those wonderfully folks, who make its components and build it. Real team work with a real competent highly respected team leader. No ego just intelligence. Beautiful colour too, not fin black
One of the cars I'm most excited to see this year! I hope it drives around Goodwood this year!
Best car on earth!
It’s a pleasure to listen to these two gentlemen. 👍🏻
need a 1:18 model for my hubby, HE LOVES THIS MASTERPIECE
Impeccable
When I see this car, I realize that money can buy happiness.
Unbelievable engineering. Keep the videos coming.
Seeing these cars come together with all their intricate details is amazing to say the least. Looks like something being built by NASA.
Can’t wait to see and hear the T50s open pipes on track WOW.
Dario your an awsome driver... ❤
"Ora Parla T50! Parla!" MASTERPIECE, THE BOTICELLI OF CARS!
The engine, transmission, rear suspension assembly is a thing of beauty
Engineering masterpiece.
Since the letter a is open and tilted on the Fancar, I think it reads just as much Funcar. Which is the important bit.
I like to think they did that on purpose like every other detail.
The purest hypercar for the driver and still everyday usability on board...magnificent...my first choice if I could get my hands on 😎
The pinnacle of the motor car as we know it. No other manufacturers have even come close… ❤
thank you sharing
Please please please bring this to a driving sim so we can all experience this beautiful machine! 🙏
I absolutely love this car. I also love how he says a lotus Elise/Exige is one of his favorite cars. But he can't fit in one, I have a lotus and he is right, it is tough to fit in, but so rewarding when you drive the car. (espesially when you do a K24 swap, 300whp NA)
Such a wonderful car. The gold manifold looks like a hand reach into the engine Absolutely staggering beauty
Imagine showing this to someone 100+ years ago! This is peak horseless carriage 🙂
Well put. Imagine, in another 100 years time, someone will come back to this, understand Gordons principles, what he was trying to achieve, and make it better with the materials they have access to.
@@mrwhiteshortsyea but not as a normal production car due to regulations that'll be put in place 100 years from now. And those regulations will probably make the car like 4,000 lbs
Happy new year from Berlin 🇩🇪
🙋🏻♂️
Love, Ramsi 😘
Exquisite !
Well said. An well shown.
If ever I’m unsure about buying a lottery ticket, I look at these truly astonishing cars……….and buy one. Absolutely stunning , the whole range
I only have one criticism from these videos, and it's a major one from my own perspective... they're just not long enough! GMA all the way.
Happy New Year 2024 GMA🇬🇧🏁…..what a treat for for us on 2023 by showing us in depth of
T.50s XP1 Part 1 and now the first day of 2024 the Part 2 of T.50s XP1. Thank you so much 🙏
Happy New Year GMA.
Lovely content and these cars are so so special - cannot wait for the next video and really hope us the viewers get to see all 25 cars made with the individual customization selected by the lucky owners!
Beautiful cars and Cosworth power as well!
That car spec'd with straight pipes and the full 1500kg of available downforce would be insane to drive at Le Mans or the Nordschleife
Happy New Year and Cheers to you all...for the dose of pain! @ the thought of someone else getting to finesse that perfect beautiful driving machine around. Why oh woe can it not be I? Fantastic job. Very well done. Hats off.
This is the car i was was expecting from murray. He should do a road version of this model
cant wait to hear it startnl up
A new year means new hope, new light, new encounters and new paths to happiness. All the best! A happy and wonderful new year 2024
While other manufacturers are making undoubtably great cars, GMA is making literal Dream Cars. These are an engineer's dreams, literally.
Part 2 alert
Simply the best ! 👌
Happy New Year! My new year resolution is to drive a T.50, or T.33 at least... 10 feet/3 meters.
I bet Lazante will be asked if it’s possible to convert one to road legal🤔
incredible duo!!!
Legend in the making 😌 T50S Niki Louda 🏁
The long term value of these cars are going to be insane high.
Happy New Year GMA! I've been watching your channel for 4years now. Looking forward for the other videos you will soon upload.
Pure excellence
Think this car is simultaneously amazing, and very sad. Lauding over its undeniable prowess, knowing we will never see it, few will use it, and it’ll never race. Some endurance wildcards would get me on side
This is next level dedication. 👍
This car is simply fantastic Gordon you are a genius
I am in love whith this car Wao that’s art
Stunning design and engineering execution. I can only ever dream to get in one, let alone own it.
Gordon is a god of the speed and true supercars.
Thanx for my chilhood and NFS II - McLaren F1.
If only we could have people in Government like Gordon. A true genius!
Beautiful, this car is so pretty. ♥️🤘
wish these episodes were longer. Can listen to them both talk for hours.
Wow, exhaust manifolds look like big gloved hands!♥️
Cool car and I like they even have matched hair style too 🙂
hope this car will beat dodge viper's record in Nürburgring
What record exactly?
Viper is the fastest car with a manual + road legal.
T50S isn't manual + isn't road legal.
Are u serious
wooooooo im so fucking excited
3:06 cool detail re how mirror design maintained downforce
What a weapon. I wonder what the Ring time would be with the high downforce kit...
Amazing, cant wait to hear this engine go around a track! To bad only so few are gonna be build, which means the chances seeing one in real life ever is gonna be almost 0
I have to admit -- that it's not too trivial -- to grasp -- that car -- this whole project
If these videos where 10hrs instead of 10mins I’d sit here and watch every single minute….twice over
Thanks to try to conserve mechanic gearbox... 👍😉‼️Niki Lauda would like it I think (his era)... 💯🔥🛢️🏁🏎️🤓
would love to see some of those 25 liveries, which are inspired by OG winners
I want one.
Chassis No. 4 would be my pick. In a green (For Green Hell)
@4:58 This is why we saw drivers in F1 this year just fly off the track
Good car
I feel the T.50 is a McLaren F1 evo but this, this is awesome. I just wish he chose a better name. I don’t think people will remember this car as well because McLaren was a huge name in racing and when you put ‘F1’ in the name it’s even more memorable.
I do wish the T.50s was the road car. It’s so extreme.
People will remember this car for decades
Ansioso pra ver essa obra prima na pista 🙌
We hold Gordon down and tickle him till he agrees to mass production of this car!
🤣😂….. I love it 🇬🇧🏁
Hilarious 😂
Can you do a video on the OG fan car please?🙏
Still cant wait to see a certain Mr C Harris have a go in one...The 'normal' T:50 that is......Ha !!
Can someone explain the rear Suspension? It has two Whisbones. In the front and rear are two singele linkages. One seems to be a track rod and the other one for a pushrod suspension. But there is a silver colored rod connected to the gearbox. Any Ideas what its for?
👍🏻😀
Xtrac is the box you need to win races.
