Really enjoyed this series, thanks. Interesting to learn about Headwater as well, It's like credit card touring but without the panniers, even better! The scenery has been great and really inspires me to visit, especially as I had been checking out the Camino de Santiago routes in the north as well.

Absolutely loved this trip of yours. Thanks. I flew from CA the Barca with my tour bike in May, solo, never been to EU, thinking I would ride to Italy for the Giro, BUT, the weather and the navigation got in my way. Made it only to Nimes and with the weather settling in pulled the pin early.
The ease of this ride of yours, all dialed in for you made me think I should try again! And again, and again.

Doesn't look a particularly scenic route. The towns seem to be the only points of interest, but if you are not into towns or cities then there isn't much here to recommend. No hills or mountains to climb. Should ride over to the Sierra Nevada NP east of Granada.

In Spanish the E has NOT I sound. It has a EH sound. so it would be Jeh Rez.
