Thank you for the run down. As a new, but serious seller, I certainly have my work cut out for me. I need to get on top of my bookkeeping in order to calculate net profits. As well, I need to take note of how long specific products take to sell, then modify my sourcing appropriately. There is much more, but I'm taking this in baby steps. Thanks again, and I can't wait for more of your content!
Yes, great advice condensed into three major factors. I know full well that I need to do a stocktake. As there is only one of me, and I look after a household of people who are unable to support me in my endeavours it is pretty hard to allot certain times to certain tasks. I think my major issue right now is to list consistently and that is the important task I am trying to implement right now.
Doing a stocktake is very helpful. I often find numerus unlisted / misplaced items when doing one & it also allows me to take full account of my inventory.
That’s excellent advice! I just started selling on eBay this week! I plan to go full time by this time next year or sooner if I can sell my items fast .
Hi Samson Thank you so much for your work on these informational videos. As a new eBay seller they are helping me tremendously! Have you any experience with buyers sending threatening emails even after you have immediately issued a return? I recently had this experience, a buyer changed their mind right after paying and although I have no returns listed on my items I still immediately gave a refund. Buyer continues to send emails telling me that my listing is misleading and how horrible I am. FYI this item was a great item and pictures from all angles were clear and description was 100 percent accurate. I had other offers on this item so I lost business. Thank you again for your channel and have a great day!
Hi Mary, I am glad you enjoy my videos. I have had one situation like this & here is my advice (speaking from experience): If they simply insult you only via email, just block their email address & move on. If they ever threaten you in any way or if they try to contact you on a 2nd platform (instagram, phone call etc.), then contact the police & hand over their info.
I've failed that first point many times. And then had days where I got property stuck in, and had everything done within a few hours, and thinking "why the hell couldn't I have done that the other days!" 😛 great video mate 👍
I wanted to use a p.o. box so the buyers won't know my home address but eBay won't allow that. I feel that is not safe for any buyer to know where I live. Contacted customer service and they don't care. They said it's for transparency. I feel like its not safe. Any suggestions?
I felt the same way but I’ve now been selling on eBay over 10 years and never had any issues. Most of my sales are to other states. Very rarely do my buyers live in the same state I live in and honestly that makes me feel better.
Yeah it is important to solve sourcing & have consistent suppliers. The exact process of doing this varies depending on what you chose to sell, so it is hard for me to give specific advise on that.
love the vids mate i myself dont limit my selling to any area. i find what sells consistently and source is either from aust wholesalers or from china. been having alot of success lately with importing items from china.
Cheers mate, that can definitely work well. I think it would take more work for most people, however as I discuss in this video (ruclips.net/video/fdOeFiJLkww/видео.html), there are plenty of ways to find success on eBay. Thanks for watching!
Great advice and don't forget the 4th one, which is enjoy yourself! Doing Ebay can either be a joy or a chore.
Cheers! That is very true.
Thank you for the run down.

Cheers Jim, sounds like you know what you need to do. Getting on top of the financials / accounting is very powerful & essential to scale.

Cheers mate, glad to hear it.
I would like to sell resale items, like antiques, figurines, paintings, coins, etc.
I wanted to use a p.o. box so the buyers won't know my home address but eBay won't allow that. I feel that is not safe for any buyer to know where I live. Contacted customer service and they don't care. They said it's for transparency. I feel like its not safe. Any suggestions?

I heard you can rent a box at the UPS store and it will have a street address instead of PO Box.
awesome vid. But i sell on ebay etsy and shopify. Wondering if you use a cross listing app to speed up the process? thanks
Do you only reply to customer messages in that 4 hour time window?
So eBay keeps saying the funds was sent to my account and it takes 1-3 business days to work but it never hit my account what do I do
hey Samson.... do you wash clothes you sell?
My problem is sourcing. Obviously need to risk money to buy bulk and hope you get some good sellers that you can repeat buy from.

did you quit?

Hi, no store subscriptions do not increase seller limits.
