I've had my daughter do my hair too. The trick is to remove the unicorn hair clip before you forget and go to the supermarket.... Didn't notice until I got home and noone said anything!
TJHofNZ I went to little Caesars during my sons’ birthday party with some pink corduroy bear ears on my head. I HAD HAD THEM ON FOR 4 HOURS AND NOBODY SAID ANYTHING! (Including my visiting parents and friends parents dropping their kids off).

The younger one has gorgeous curly hair that should never be brushed at best gently combed when wet to detangle or even better in the shower with conditioner and fingers and then never bring a brush near her beautiful curls...after washing and detangling just scrunch and let her curls air dry!
Yah don't brush curly hair unless you're going for the prepubescent Hermione look

I always thought brushing isn't so much caring for the hair but for the scalp 🤔 Y'know, to give that part of your skin a good massage every now and again, especially when you have thick hair

That big girl's laugh is a drug for me. I have seen her laughing in 2-3 videos. I miss my brother laughing the same way when he was 3-4 yrs old.
I have a half sister, we're 18 years apart, when she was about 5 years old, she put "My Little Pony" barrettes all over my hair (I had long hair), she worked like I was her art, I kept the cute little barrettes in my hair for a couple hours till my dad and step mom came home, taking those little barrettes out was not so fun, she pulled each one out, Ouch! But I did for my baby sister! Now she's a Mommy of three little girls.. Good luck little sis, Now it's your turn! Ha Ha! 😁😉💖

Such a fun video. I had to watch it a few times as there was so much happening. The youngest child (Alba?) was so earnest and I think a little confused that Dad wasn't super chuffed with the result (don't worry Alba, it's just that blokes often don't like wearing bows and buns ha ha). Such a natural video and such a loving family. Always a delight to watch.

I love this video mainly because of the memories it brings back. You see I used to do the same thing to my dad when I was around your oldest daughter’s age. It was our Sunday afternoon tradition. I would get out my porcelain mint green box of hair clips from my dresser, walk to my parents room place them on their bed which was next to his recliner and proceed to put every clip from that 6” by 4” box into his VERY short hair. Unfortunately though, it always seemed to coincide with HIS weekly tradition of the Sunday Afternoon Dad Nap which meant that he would often nod of during the event which was fine in the beginning, but oh so frustrating towards the middle/end since it meant tiny little me couldn’t get the back of his head which of course caused the something along the lines of the following scene to occur:
Little Me: Daddy!
My Dad: ::after being woken up:: What!? What!?
Little Me: ::rightfully upset:: You fell asleep again.
My Dad: No I didn’t. I was just uh, closing my eyes.
Little Me: Nu uh you snored.
My Dad: ::makes the sheepish yikes she got me face::
Little Me: ::makes the yes I was right face::
My Dad: ::trying to make up for his mistake:: Alright, alright. I’m sorry. I’m sorry. What do you need me to do?
Little Me: Turn your head so I can get the back.
My Dad: Okay got it.
He would than proceed to honor my request along with his desires by repositioning himself in a way that allowed for the continuation of his nap AND the finishing of his hair, lol.
I tied my dad a small ponytail at the top of his head while he was watching tv. He thought i was just brushing, he has no idea that he has a ponytail. Then a surprise guest came. It was so funny to see that guest try so hard to not laugh 😂
I am so fond of How to Dad and his lovely family....
My dad is bald... so he didn’t have to go through this 😂😂
And he never knew how to do my hair, he would just brush it and call it a day
My mother worked 3rd shift so my dad would get me ready for school. He would put it in a ponytail on the crown of my head. My ponytail was so tight that even 60 years later my eyes are slightly slanted.
Love it! And I learned a new word.... "Whinge".

I think the US "whine", AU/NZ "whinge" and UK "moan" are fairly similar in meaning, although whinge & moan are closer to "complain" in meaning than "whine" is I think.
@@frolickinglions In NZ there is a subtle diffferemce between whining and whinging, buggered if I know what it is though. My mum used to say if you are going to whinge and whine about it then ..........
