Great testing video. I have the 20 V model and is powerful enough but not for heavy work. Regarding the flying blade, I have the same problem and unfortunately is not one time event, for me is happening more often. I cleaned the chuck but no better results. Maybe it will work with a dildo. So I upgraded to the bosch gsa 18v-32 and it is a beast. Two levels of orbital action, and speed control with a little selector, no Bluetooth, no gimmicks. But I have an old non performance green version of the saw and the chuck is better, but the gears are skipping sometimes. So I think the performance series are powerful but no difference in contruction quality and materials. This 40 V model is powerful but the rest of the tool is the same. Especially the blade holding chuck and the shaft is not upgraded to the power level of this tool.
Great video would be great to compare the performance with the old models 😃👍👍👍👍
Noted!
Nice video, especially because you show us how it looks inside - nice one. Regarding the machine - i dont like this kind of tool at all. Why? Because of the weight. Machines that have batteries, that could be taken away from power source have to be light. This one weight almost 2.5 kg and have 2 batteries - heavy tool. No, i dont see sense in this. Angle grinder is in my opinion, better. More power, smaller the weight.
2,5 kg is not that heavy. Most sds hammer drills have very similar weight.
But I also prefer a sabre saw thats a bit lighter.
Actually have the (non-performance) x20v version, totally fine for my use.
Just gotta have enough 4ah or 8ah batteries, its pretty power-hungry.
Angle grinder is a pretty different tool, of course theres some things both sabresaw and angle grinder can do - but theres MANY things only the sabresaw or only the anglegrinder can do. Best to have both + their attachments.
Make sure to get enough regular metal & wood blades + some long ones if you wanna utilize all the abilitys of a sabresaw, then it will be a extremely versatile tool.
the milwauke super sawzall with only one battery 20v is heavier than this one with 2 batteries. Also the parkside can do twice the work the milwaukee does and it is overall faster. but if you don't like the weight, with 2 8ah batteries it is 4,5 kgr ,there is always the smaller versions ,20v like the pssap 20 li d5 which is light and portable as a feather. it trully is a trip on the go tool.
Its next 40v tool maybe hammer drill performance🤔 you already review sabre saw and angle grinder hope next one is hammer drill😁
Unfortunatelly there are no new about upcoming 40V hammer drill. There is a new model hammer drill, but its 20V
@@icku 😒 its any diference between new model and old performance model? I waiting it from spring to come again in our store in slovenia but im no lucky yet😒 i have performance sabre saw and really love it and also green big and small impact wrench(socket and bits) and small 12v normal drill
i haven't got my hands on it yet. So can't say :(
@@icku ok so you now what you need to do when you get it 😁🤣make video please😁👌
Bought it today for 89€ in Portugal.
In Belgium it's 99 euros.
In Portugal December 2022 it will sell for 119€00.
the same price in Croatia for same tool. Started selling today in Lidl.
The Netherlands it was €75 for a day (37% discount) So that´s probably the minimum you can get it for.
Does this has more power then a 1100 watt makita 220v sabre saw?
Watch out for your finger at 5:43 this is how i got hurt...
I had the 20li c3 for about 2 years but the gears are skipping, worn out. So it's not the price, also the power of the machine was good but the fear of having to buy a new machine again which can't hold out doesn't make me desire a new one. Does anyone got a idea for spare parts?
If its a performance model you should have 5 years warranty, so back to the shop with it!
Is it possible to turn off that Bluetooth connectivity thing completely and use the tool on full power?
Of course you can :)
@@icku Oh that's good to know 😀
Thanks
Can you make it work with only 1 battery?
No, you cannot.
120€ this Thursday.
Hi, is it better than the 20v version?
Yes it is better :)
Ok thank you! Your vidéo are nice , keep going. Hello from France
