    Man, your content is great. I wish you a whole lot of subscribers and viewers so you can make some money off of it. To buy more tools with to review, of course, and it'll snowball from there!

      Thank you so much my friend! This means a lot! I am trying my best with what I have at my disposal. I don't have a workshop unfortunately, otherwise I think it would have been better content, but I try to give it a unique feel as it is. Thank you once again for being so king to me and this channel! I appreciate it more than you can imagine!

    in the past black performance edition meant the tools have brushless motor. now they mix it with green basic line like there's no tomorrow.

    • @BrokeLifeEU
      @BrokeLifeEU  Месяц назад

      Yes, they also fooled me! Initially I thought this would be a brushless motor. Then I opened it up and it was not. Marketing and profits I guess...

    I just looked this up. Looks like a good price for this much power. I don't need it but I love the blade test! I will be going with Makita from now on!

    Great insights, looks like Makita blades are the way to go. The tool looks unstoppable, you could probably saw a car in half with it in a day with enough blades on hand. Curious how it holds up in the long run!

      I did want to cut a car in half with it! I thought it would make for a good video and it would be the ultimate test for the tool and carbide blade. Unfortunately the production budget got in the way of that... 😅

    I shared a few tears for that blade, I have the black blade but, for now, I didn't need it, that was a nice test! If you don't brake the bank, the angle grinder, the black one, if you can test it, I've missed it in the stores 😊

      I have a couple of angle grinders waiting for me. I have the flathead ones and the D4 the last performance one with a proper button. Any of them the one you would like to see in a video?

      @@BrokeLifeEU sorry, I didn't specified, the corded one. I didn't get it and I was wondering if the 1700w is a little bit to much for a 125mm grinder, but I would bought it anyway. Unfortunately, I've missed it..

    • @BrokeLifeEU
      @BrokeLifeEU  2 месяца назад +2

      I can try to get you a review of that angle grinder, but my access to corded power is very limited at the moment and I have somewhat stretched my finances unfortunately. However I will see if I can make it happen for you! I will try my best!

    I try dewalt carbide blades on performance battery version of this saw and im very impresed i pay 15euros for 5 blades but i not regreet it any blades before i have are junk even one only for wood in soft wood branches to max 10cm diameter after 2cut are dull dewalt no changes even after 2full batteries emptyed (4 and 8ah)

      At €3 per blade that is a fantastic price! The Parkside ones I paid €10 per blade which for it being Parkside I think is a bit too much.

    On paper seems like a good tool, but when you disassemble it you realize that it is not very good made. It is build for not too demanding work. The shaft mechanism inside is not in a closed cell but is wide open and there is a very flimsy light sealing preveding dust to get in and clogg the device.The only seal is a thin o-ring made of felt. Especially when cutting masonry, the tool is very likely to fill up with dust. Needs some light modifications from the user to seal it completely. And the biggest disappointment is the fake orbital function switch. You flip it and the cutting continues to be linear, flip it twice, again linear action. It is not a real functional switch unfortunately.

    • @BrokeLifeEU
      @BrokeLifeEU  2 месяца назад +1

      You are right there. I mean the orbital action looks like it does something in my case but nothing to be excited about and I felt no real difference with the branches I was cutting. Also the branches were rather big so I would have hoped to have seen a difference there but no. So to that I would say at least in my case it was more of a gimmick. As for the dust getting in the tool I felt it no worse than the cordless sabre saw that I have. That said my cordless sabre saw is not very good at dust prevention either, but this one is no worse than what I am used to with Parkside. It is not a bad tool if it is used within DIY limits. for 50-60 euros I find it to be satisfactory, because it will get the job done and it has a lot of power. Have you tried the carbide blades?

    • @user-du6op6qx5s
      @user-du6op6qx5s 2 месяца назад +3

      @BrokeLifeEU you are right. If you consider the price, than yeah, but unfortunately, the corded performance series is advertised as pro level tool. Specially the angle grinder which was rather expensive, and has some professional tech on it. It has a magnetic ring that provides loading data and a relay that keeps the rpm constant. This sabre saw should have been the green line tool. Anyway I modded mine and added two additional sealing layers. It should have less chance of glogging. The orbital action can be amplified with a more aggressive shaft. But not too much because it will lock completely the reciprocating action. Also I have tried the carbide blade, it is good but it doesn't last long. The best blades I've used are makita.

      Did they really market them as professional tools? That is way above what they are good for! Also I knew Makita blades were good but I still surprised myself with how good they actually are. I managed to get them from a local store where they were on sale and each Makita blade cost me no more than 1 EUR. For that price I should have bought the entire box of them. I really like the feel of the Makita Progressive blade, looks like a very good blade for wide use.

      @BrokeLifeEU the angle grinder sure is advertised as such in the booklet. For demanding work in your workshop or in your house. That is what's written in the booklet. I bought a whole box of makitas blades. Set for long time.

      I may have to get that grinder and make a video of it. Could be interesting I have an old Makita to test it against.

    No to carbide teeth then. Not worth the money. Just get x4 regular blades for the price of the carbide one.

    • @BrokeLifeEU
      @BrokeLifeEU  2 месяца назад +2

      That is what I will be doing. I prefer to replace a blade more frequently than to spend x4-5 times as much on a single blade. The regular Makita blades are like 2 Euros each. The carbide Parkside is anywhere from 10 to 15 depending on what mood Lidl financial people are.

    • @memutu
      @memutu 2 месяца назад +1

      I would agree with that, not worth the money, regular makita blades are good enough, also I didn't put mine to the test, I have some Irwin ones that won't give up :-)

      Yes, I used the Parkside metal carbide say about 10 times in total and am starting to see some wear on the teeth. The makita blades I bough from a store where they were on sale. Less than 1 EUR per blade. I am very impressed with these regular Makita blades. The progressive metal Makita blade I think is my favourite, because I feel it can be used for a wide range of metals and will always feel and perform pretty much the same.
