It’s a wonderful place to visit, my absolute hands down favorite San Juan Island. Best of all it’s only a 12 minute flight from our home airport which is incredibly convenient. ❤️

Hello, Caroline! I’m trying to get over to FHR but the marine layer won’t go away. As soon as I can I’ll look into that and let you know. That’s one of my favorites, hopefully they passed the bakery on to new owners. 👍
I’m not well-versed on any flight instruction available on the islands. Bellingham has BAS and Command, and Skagit has Cascade but you may find someone local to you by calling the San Juan Airlines office and asking. Good luck, getting your PPL is one of the best things you’ll ever do!! 👍✈️🍀

The last time I flew to the U.S. I stopped in Friday Harbor before heading home. Nice town, nice airport.
