There is nothing a person like that hates more than being dismissed. Was so sorry to see the return of Karen. I saw that she came in from the back arches. You talk about mental illness as an insult. Do you have a beef with people with diabetes or heart disease as well? Sandra was well behaved yesterday. Not a cackle out of her! Now this unfortunate man today really needs help. He really is on the edge over being unemployed. But John, you handled it so well by alerting the MODs. ♥️✨
What an encounter, not easy to know how to respond. I think you did the right thing John, getting police and then not entertaining his attempt to escalate things with you. Safety of the guards and horses, public, and you were paramount in the situation and not knowing how someone’s behaviour may escalate, you handled it with calm and I think that prevented further issue. Although bizarre and unwelcome, such behaviour isn’t necessarily caused by mental illness. I am a mental health clinician and I understand that people tend to look at such behaviour in a certain way - surely no ‘sane’ person would act in such a manner. Mental illness may in fact have nothing to do with such behaviour, aa anyone can be a jerk. When we make statements indicating a person behaving like a jerk (being racist and confrontational etc,) is mentally ill, it is derogatory to those who do have a mental illness and it reinforces a negative and harmful narrative and stereotype about people with mental illness. And if someone is mentally ill, it is not helpful to berate them about their symptoms or tell them they should be hospitalized. Think about it, we would never make derogatory comments about the symptoms experienced by someone with cancer, or ALS or dementia, even if they did happen in public. Most likely in such cases, we would be kind and helpful and understanding to get them through whatever was happening. We certainly wouldn’t tell them we hope they get so sick from their illness that we hope they end up in a hospital. I understand the long held societal beliefs that anyone who thinks, speaks, or behaves outside of what is considered ‘normal’, must be mentally ill. We are making slow but steady progress in addressing bias and stigma when it comes to mental illness. I just ask that we all be thoughtful and ‘check’ our assumptions, and make an effort to challenge and change negative comments and narrative around mental illness. People who are mentally ill need support and compassion, just like anyone else with any other illness. And if someone with mental illness is publicly saying harmful things, or threatening others, of course it needs to be dealt with for the safety of everyone involved, and there are proper ways to do it. This guy was acting like a jerk. If he is also coping with mental illness, and if his behaviour is a symptom of it, I hope he is receiving good care for his illness. Just imagine if you lived with a life long brain disease that caused you to firmly believe, all day every day, that other people in the world were purposefully targeting you as an individual, and preventing you from doing anything meaningful, preventing you from being able to work and live, and nothing anyone could do would change this. Imagine if you suffered such anxiety that you could not leave your home and feel safe. Often, not unlike some cancers, ALS or dementia, mental illnesses are not curable. Often, they are illnesses that someone must live with forever, and they can hopefully be managed with treatment, achieving varying levels of success. It is a daily challenge for a lot of people. I just ask that we all be mindful of how we think about, and talk about people with mental illnesses. ❤️

What an absolute idiot.that guy is.
I'm a few cups of coffee behind, thank you for all you do ❤🇺🇲
That's very kind of you - and much appreciated. Thank you! ❤❤
Well I'm glad that fool wasn't there yesterday with "Karen of the cackling laugh"! John, wouldn't that been a hoot?!😂

I just wanted to thank you for your videos. I do not travel but everyday I get to go to London and enjoy the Horse Guards and feel like I am right there. People like that "investigator" are not worth a minute of your time. They are obviously seeking negative attention and got it by being moved on. Keep up the great work!
I’m saying you’re getting recognized for this Awesome Channel u have created. Love it. The narrative is great!
I love the way you dismiss people. Beautifully done, John!
When I have a chance to go to the UK, besides go to see my best friend in North Wales (we've been friends well over 10 years and have never met in the flesh), but besides going to see her, I will stand all day if I have to just to have my photo taken at a phone box 😊. My parents had their photo taken at one, and at a post box.
Still rather hot here in Texas, it's going to be around 95° today. The first cold night for us is usually Halloween night.
Hope everyone is having a good Sunday. My day is just beginning, it's 0845. So, Good Morning from Texas. Much love and hugs to all. Thank you so much for your wonderful video John ♥️ xoxo
That is so nice! I hope you get to meet your friend and get your phone box picture! Lynn from Pennsylvania. 😊
Best response from you. Nice one.
Well done, John. You were right in not engaging any further with the "prankster". By alerting the police, they were able to gain control. Let him talk and quietly remove him from the area.
How kindly the guard corrected the young boy!
Hello John: I''ve been shaking my head so much I have gotten vertigo. 💫💫 Yesterday Karen, today the brain dead man who got into your face, and then the ending. 😮💨😞🙍♀ As you say, it is what it is........May all your tomorrows be positive and safe. All the best from the USA.................Sue
I always check to see that the clips that hit my feed are yours. You are by far one of the best streamers.
I enjoy your commentary.
Your patriotic demeanor is to be commended.
I've had family members visit London. I assure you they would have been great respectful tourist not reflecting poorly on our Texas upbringing.
Have a great vacation.
You handled it well. He wants to cause a riot apparently. I hope they arrested him.
It makes me nervous to see drunk/crazy etc. shouting because of the kids right there. The police took too long going over to him.
I wonder if, after the guards get off shift, they have a good laugh at all the idiots they see and deal with. 😂
He gets an adjoining room next to Sandra!

I always look forward to your videos as they are so informative and humorous. The lady waiting for her husband to come and pitch a tent…lol
Hi John. You know that piece of plastic, if thrown hard enough, as suggested by that man, coud've seriously injured the horse. I'm not going to label him as he clearly needs help. Well done you, for keeping your cool.
More likely aluminium.
I saw that girl jump too, and then a car horn beeped and she jumped with that too. 😂😂 As always, love your content.💙
I bet he doesn't even know what a Free Mason is or what they do. What a complete idiot. 😅😅😅
Well done John. Shame on him.pity he has nothing better to do,.
So happy to see the Guardsmen enforcing the rules.
it start so well, and then 1 guard lets every one down
There is always one being a idiot , you done the right thing john to inform the security 👍
Hi John
Thank you for intervening and getting the police.
The thoughts of that gentleman shows how necessary it is to have the signs and the rules of not entering the box enforced by ALL the Troopers.
Imagine if he got close to both the horse and/or the Trooper.
One never knows the intent of people like him who has an issue with life.
I hope the higher authorities speak to all the Troopers of both household calvary and have them enforce the rules, not just for the safety of the public, but for both the Troopers and their horses.
Oh my gosh your hysterical! A room in the stables. Right over his head!🤣🤣
That big mouth should shut his mouth and listen to what he is being told as he might learn something. He is the poster child for tongue removal. I strongly dislike people like him.
Agree John, borderline unstable with your cute laugh!
Hi John. I have learned a lot about London from your videos. Love the Horse Guards!! Always watching from Ohio!
Maybe that maroon and Karen can get together 😂 You handled that really well John…he was talking about pranks, but because of your RUclips channel I’ve learned so much and seen extraordinary things about the workings of the troopers and horse guards. Thank you again! 😊
