Sometimes people don’t have much of a choice in cover up designs. Their ideas can turn out ugly because it’s just not possible to completely cover and rework some tattoos without making it gigantic or super black to hide the original one. These people also signed up for a free tattoo, so it sucks that they can’t get exactly what they want, but it’s often unrealistic ideas. Anything covering this trash is an improvement
I get the swastikas and confederate flags, but is the anarchy symbol classified as a hate symbol? It doesn't seem like directed towards anyone or associated with any genocides or anything.
Because when there is anarchy violent people take over. Anarchy is good in theory until you have a violent hateful person who ends up grabbing power. That's what happened in CHAZ/CHOP. But also I think by hate tattoo they mean that the person hates it
Imagine how badass the person with the anarchy must have thought that tattoo was she was probably saying to people “no I won’t regret it, it represents me”
I’m confused on how the anarchy sign is a sign of hate. I’ve always thought of it as a symbol representing punk rock... one of my favorite artists have an anarchy symbol tatted on his face
I like the fact they had the anarchy sybol in it, because I belive in diveristy and it's offensive to see us fascist always get called "hateful" when in reailty we just love our people more then others, but loving someone more doesn't mean hating others. So it's nice to see other ideologies getting called out as well. Also your fav artist is mega gay for getting that tattoo lmao.
Interesting move to have a hate tattoo covered up, but doing so on national television so the maximum amount of people can see that you HAD a hate tattoo.
Going back to what Anthony said about being a "minority because of his skin color", I don't really understand how white people even took control of tattooing. In earlier times, tattoos were used for African and Native American tribes as a sign of strength. Usually the leader of the tribe would have the most tattoos to show that he was the strongest and the one to be feared. If anything, I'm pretty sure when the white colonists came to America, they probably look down on tattoos because it took away from the natural beauty of the skin, plus it was the custom of the "inferior" race. I honestly do not know how they came around to liking them and all of a sudden took control of the industry, but then again, that's good ole America for you!!!!
volk dukn no one is acting special just stating facts and why are you acting like majority of white americans have Scandinavian blood when most white americans are anglo and tattoos started in africa anyways i dont know why you brought up vikings but yeah viking were a legendary people
As a tattoo artist myself, its disgusting that you could disrespect someone who is genuinely asking you questions. I don’t give a rat’s ass if they talk too much. You let that person feel welcomed and be kind. This is a hate tattoo cover-up, dude. He’s doing better things with himself, and you should use the opportunity to show others that you care about your clients, not just winning money. I’m so sorry to the guy that had to see this on tv after the fact. I would have wanted to scrub that tattoo off with a Brillo pad..
Michael Myers yes I know swastika is a peaceful symbol for buddhists and some other religions, but some people still wouldn't offer you job for example if they saw you had a swastika. And I highly doubt you'll tell them "this isn't the nazi one I swear" do you see what I mean? As for the confederate flag, yeah it could mean "southern pride" but it could also mean something else. Just as the swastika, it's controversial if it's racist or not but if you have a tattoo like this I can only imagine it makes your life difficult. And coverup for free? I mean if I had a tattoo that I would want covered up I would want to do it for free?
I was going to leave a comment about the anarchy sign not being a symbol of hate but then I went through the comments section and realize there are so many stupid people here it's not worth my time
i don’t get why an artist would tattoo on such a hateful piece in the first place. my tattoo guy refuses to do any hate symbols and hate speech, and also refuses to do hand, face, or neck tattoos for anyone who’s young. tattoo artists need to be more considerate
It isn't inherently a hate symbol, but it's a symbol used by a lot of skinhead groups. If that's why she got it, then obviously to her, it's a hate tattoo. Not everyone wearing an anarchy symbol is an anarchist.
My dad got a swastika tattoo on his foot when he was around 13... He had no idea what it meant, he was just ignorant enough to think it looked cool. He carved it out a few days after my grandmother saw it and started crying, so now he has a scar in the shape of a swastika...
Many agree with Marx on the need to exterminate cultural minorities to prevent them becoming counter-revolutionaries. Many of the groups call for violence and murder of groups of people (police, politicians, business owners, etc.) The socialist system fundamentally only functions when everyone agrees, or at least can crush dissent.
To those who are asking why tattoo artists even give people these tattoos in the first place, there is one in my city who tattooed porn of a 13 year old anime character on a dude's arm. Her defence? She was getting paid.

@@Милош-р3д You don't know what Anarchism is if thats what you think.
4:50 Shut up and let me tattoo!
Best part ever!
it seems kinda crappy that these people are getting coverups to help them start new and they have not only a time crunch but if they don't like the design they get there's not a lot of time for the artists to give them more options :/ i hope they at least let the ones that are unfinished by the end get the tattoo finished up...
For them any difference was probably a relief
Sometimes people don’t have much of a choice in cover up designs. Their ideas can turn out ugly because it’s just not possible to completely cover and rework some tattoos without making it gigantic or super black to hide the original one. These people also signed up for a free tattoo, so it sucks that they can’t get exactly what they want, but it’s often unrealistic ideas. Anything covering this trash is an improvement
Anarchy is not hate, it’s freedom and peace
I love Anthony’s tattoo he did a good job 👍💕
“Half the battle is distractions.”
L e g e n d
I love how everyone admits how dumb they were, how wrong, when they got these tats and how badly they want them gone.
Honestly this event shouldn't have been timed or rushed. But the let the artist take time for every detail to erase the hate
I get the swastikas and confederate flags, but is the anarchy symbol classified as a hate symbol? It doesn't seem like directed towards anyone or associated with any genocides or anything.
I agree. Maybe the bourgeoisie is now a minority? :P
Because when there is anarchy violent people take over. Anarchy is good in theory until you have a violent hateful person who ends up grabbing power. That's what happened in CHAZ/CHOP. But also I think by hate tattoo they mean that the person hates it
@@marianaramirez4780 you obviously dont understand anarchism. if someone takes power abd is structured, it isnt anarchism anymore 🤦🏻♂️
@@lp.shakur exactly, anarchism only ends in that, so why want it at all
Anthony's beautiful bloody tattoos make me cry, holy shit
Imagine how badass the person with the anarchy must have thought that tattoo was she was probably saying to people “no I won’t regret it, it represents me”
Yaa James Vaughn!!! This is a big change for him. When he was here in S1, there was no finale or human canvas jury. Brooo
Oh no, I always make conversation with my tattoo artists. I'll have to stop that :')
Lol I'm sure it's not so bad if they're not under a strict time limit
Can't believe they let someone with an anarchy tattoo come on under the category of "hate tattoos"
Insulting
I wish Cleen would do my next tattoo.
Roxxann Toretto i would love a tattoo...just afraid of the pain. I'm really sensitive to that.
katrina lin just do it, no regrets in life
This is one of my favorites ever, covering hate tattoos is such a good concept and challenge
I had some stupid knuckle tattoos that said "fuck you!" I was so sick of these tats, so I did what Mitch Lucker did. Tattoo black bars on them.
Watching these videos make me miss getting tattoos.
now cover up the cover up tattoo with a bigger hate tattoo ;)
Spaghetti hair? Are you fucking kidding me? That tattoo was lit!
anthony is a very respectable man, i like him the most.
Glad to see they are trying to cover these up
I’m confused on how the anarchy sign is a sign of hate.
Милош Вишић the artist is lil peep😭
@@v4mpgir185 Oof. RIP that nigga, still gay though.
Peck chose something he could wash off at least 😂😂😂😂
Anarchy isn't hateful
Thanks for letting us know, Rodrick!
RODRICK HEFFLEY hate of the government, yes it is
@@ShaneshaS Criticizing people who have too much power over others lives isn’t hateful
Nope just stupid
Michael Myers But they didn't start with white people!!!!!
Amethyst Maries they made in mainstream in the military then it just grew and grew.
gary casper for white people not everyone else
Vikings also had them so yeah don't go acting like your special just cause your skin is darker
volk dukn no one is acting special just stating facts and why are you acting like majority of white americans have Scandinavian blood when most white americans are anglo and tattoos started in africa anyways i dont know why you brought up vikings but yeah viking were a legendary people
Lol the guy with the red Mohawk is a mood
As a tattoo artist myself, its disgusting that you could disrespect someone who is genuinely asking you questions. I don’t give a rat’s ass if they talk too much. You let that person feel welcomed and be kind. This is a hate tattoo cover-up, dude. He’s doing better things with himself, and you should use the opportunity to show others that you care about your clients, not just winning money. I’m so sorry to the guy that had to see this on tv after the fact. I would have wanted to scrub that tattoo off with a Brillo pad..
Canvas- “You ever went to art school or sum”
Artist- “Na Ima high school dropout” 😂
What the hell is "hateful" about the Anarchy symbol?
Jeremy David Not necessarily. It's criticism against people with power.
UndeadThrasher447 exactly
Michael Myers confederate flag is not really positive either and Christian covered a swastika so...
Michael Myers and I'm Czech, I know a lot about swastikas and Hitler
When the guy said 13 or 14 years old, my phone thought I wanted to google something 😂
I was going to leave a comment about the anarchy sign not being a symbol of hate but then I went through the comments section and realize there are so many stupid people here it's not worth my time
I wish I can be this show as a canvas to get tattooed
i don’t get why an artist would tattoo on such a hateful piece in the first place. my tattoo guy refuses to do any hate symbols and hate speech, and also refuses to do hand, face, or neck tattoos for anyone who’s young. tattoo artists need to be more considerate
Artists aren't saints, they're just normal people.
I'm sure some of these are from shady businesses or prison
I don’t have tattoos but I love this show
Wait... How is Jame's anarchy tat a "Hate" tat?
It isn't inherently a hate symbol, but it's a symbol used by a lot of skinhead groups. If that's why she got it, then obviously to her, it's a hate tattoo. Not everyone wearing an anarchy symbol is an anarchist.
I just love your puppy dog eyes💙💎💍
how would the anarchy symbol be hateful...?
Hate of the government.
They have violent members of their group.
@@babecat2000 then the American eagle is the most hateful symbol out there
The tattoo Anthony did is sick. I’d definitely go to him.
When did the anarchist symbol become a hate symbol? That's the only one I'm confused by
I wish I can find a artist here to cover up my middle belly tattoo
I just gave my boyfriend and his friend anarchy symbols 😁
My dad got a swastika tattoo on his foot when he was around 13... He had no idea what it meant, he was just ignorant enough to think it looked cool. He carved it out a few days after my grandmother saw it and started crying, so now he has a scar in the shape of a swastika...
*Forgive my ignorance, but why is the Circle A symbol (for Anarchy) a hate symbol?*
Can someone please enlighten me?
Many agree with Marx on the need to exterminate cultural minorities to prevent them becoming counter-revolutionaries. Many of the groups call for violence and murder of groups of people (police, politicians, business owners, etc.) The socialist system fundamentally only functions when everyone agrees, or at least can crush dissent.
The eagle tattoo is really nice
To those who are asking why tattoo artists even give people these tattoos in the first place, there is one in my city who tattooed porn of a 13 year old anime character on a dude's arm. Her defence? She was getting paid.
1:49 so when did the anarchy logo become hate
