Very strong videos! I love it. I watch a lot of Lego channels but yours is very nice into explaining what's the life of a Lego fan. I have a few sets I mostly buy for the kids, but hoping to get more and more and maybe start again creating new stuffs like when I was young.
Thanks, I really appreciate that! It's a bit of a struggle with my regular day job to be honest, these videos take ages to makes. Hopefully I'll get there some day!
Yea of course! I respond to most comments actually. It’s renzo260, but the store is closed. With the videos and my regular job, there’s just not enough hours in a day 😂
I’m getting ready to start my city. Got my tables, some buildings, and streets. I’ve got a couple MILS plates and a great idea that would allow me to mix contemporary homes and HP magic. However! It’s kinda a jumble in my head and I would love a way to plan it all out so a studio tutorial would be great
That's awesome! Are you planning on using any official sets or do you just want to use MOCs? I've actually started planning a tutorial series but found it was a LOT of work. I'm working on some other projects right now but I'll try to pick it back up at some point
I am starting to build a 1/64 building set that can be built and transported on a table to create very nice lighting. I am using hotwheels and other diecast as the vehicles in the scenes. The buildings are designed based on existing buildi g I see in real life. A small mobile village will be built up. The biggest one to date is an auto dealership. They have been scaled in a way to look scale while shrink scaled as reduce areas the size in areas.
I thought I was gonna make a huge Lego city in my loft, I own lots of Lego city sets I thought about putting there because I don’t know how else to display them. Now I realize a shelf city is my best option but playsets and vehicles aren’t very good for that
No but the whole point of the video was to give an alternative for those who don’t have the space or budget for an actual physical city. I agree it’s definitely not the same but you can have a lot of fun with Studio too

Secret is safe on youtube @@renzo260. Maybe hold a completion for us to design a building in our neighborhood and you pick the winner and you put it in your city.
Is your city private on web or not? I ask this bc, what if I want to get the bricks for do a hotel for example, but If this is public online, some other people could want to built the same hotel, so will be hard to get the pieces. Another question, Can the game help to built something using a real photo as a map? For example if I want to built the town hall of Chicago, the game will help me to find the pieces using photos as a reference.
Actually you just install it locally on your computer and it’s completely private. You don’t have a max number of parts to work with either. If you wanted to build something with 100.000 2x2 bricks, you could. Although your computer probably would like it much. I haven’t found that option yet, but I’m currently working on a video about that exact thing. I’m building a town hall from the Netherlands to add to my city and it’s kinda like a step by step guide on the process I go through
Weirdly enough, there’s no direct way through Studio itsef. You can find a lot of sets preassembled by others online though. I believe you can import LDD and LDraw files, but I’d have to double check.
There’s a standard list that’s already in Studio, it has most know parts. If you want to build a specific set, you can import the parts of that set under file>import>official set I believe. Just put in the set nr and choose if you want it as a palette or import the actual parts!
It’s actually a clone of my own voice. I explained it in another video as well but I work on these videos with my friend. He edits most of it and it’s very difficult with our fulltime jobs to get all the needed voice overs done in time. But when RUclips gets a bit more serious, we’ll make more time for it and transition to “normal” voice overs
The fact that a Lego door is worth more than some actual doors is insane

Agreed a tutorial would be great

What a great video to randomly stumble across, I love the style and think what you're doing is great :)

2:39 This is not discoloration. The two 2x2 plates are in old dark grey, whereas the plate underneath is in dark bluish grey.
Ohhh that makes sense actually! Those parts are indeed very old
The Sanctum doesn't have stairs that lead to the top since Dr. Strange can just fly up there. I don't think Victor can do the same, unfortunately.
Sadly, Victor doesn’t know how to fly :(
It's so cool
I really like the details inside the building.
Right! It’s definitly not as close to the movies as I would’ve liked but I think the set would have to be much bigger to achieve that

Make a cosplay event in your Lego City, with those Supers mini figures! It will still be in the theme of a normal city

Unuseable minifigure idea down the line: either a museum wax figure exhibit, or a huge costume party.
