I have been playing one-length irons for 5 years. it changed my game. decided to get a set of normal length clubs and returned them for the RadSpeed one-length's and LOVE them. Great clubs and consistency is amazing. Gapping excellent (and improved with newer models)
This has to be the most helpful video I’ve ever seen. Currently in a dilemma as I’m missing the 215-235 distance. I’m not just dying to kill every ball I hit, your video helped me lean towards the one length and for me, control is more important that 7 yards of carry. This helped a lot!!
I am using the 2021 Cobra Radspeed 3-Hybrid standard 19 but had it custom-fitted with a 1.00" additional shaft length. LOVE IT! Very accurate and long.
Great video, thanks! I have the F9 one length irons that I've been playing on and off for the last 2 years. Haven't tried any one length hybrid but I might have to try it now, this video has me intrigued...
I game three SL Cobra hybrids ( F9 19 degree, F8 22 and F8 25. If you move the ball forward as you would with a variable length hybrid you will struggle with thin strikes and low flyers. Hit it like a 7 iron. The beauty of the short shaft is that they are easy to hit from poor lies/ ball above your feet etc. I find they fly lower and shorter than a conventional hybrid, so what? Adapt your game to suit their performance.
Just grabbed the 4&5 one length hybrids on ebay for a song. Love them!! So easy to strike well and I'm getting similar distances to the standard length hybrids they are replacing.
I have 1 length irons and tried the 1 length hybrid but didn’t get on with it so ended up with the F8 standard. Great vid Lee, more people should try 1 length with an open mind like yourself...not many on RUclips do which I imagine puts the average golfer of a bit. 👏🏼👏🏼
In conclusion... You need to get cobra in your fitting centre! I have a sz hb and really like it. It has the matt finish which looks better for me, with the same recoil shaft.
Trying to decide between the two, video was awesome but still left me with no exact choice. I play one-length irons but I’m also a taller player so I’m afraid the shorter hybrid will feel weird to me. Wish I had somewhere close to go test them both out!
Great review Lee , I struggle with my hybrid 19 degrees standard Length . Ordered the new one Length cobra only yesterday and with your review can’t wait to get using it 👍
You can get a flyer at anytime in your round lee that’s golf for ya as I’ve said in the past it’s not always about length it’s more about control and keeping the ball in play also you can always take stuff off a club but you can’t always put it on that’s when you start to lose control
Hi Lee I have been tinkering with my swing senior golfer .Distance was a problem so I got fitted Wilson clubs stronger lofts well pleased. Then I came across a video of Dan and Mark C straightening the rear leg they both gained 10 yards in length.I would have included the DH CREW except for the sad loss for Lester .I have been watching your swing and you straighten your back leg in the take away you are one of the longest handicap golfers I know is the point of your swing that gives you length or is this where some inconsistencies come in I really like the feel doing this move . Could you have a look at this and possible bring in the DH crew I’m going to look at Lester’s swing to see if he straighten or keeps flex in his back leg in the take away I believe this could be an important move for senior golfers or anyone looking for a little extra length and less pressure on legs and lower back keep up the good work
Hi Barry, I'm a senior going through some changes,, will try the back leg exercises,, I broke my 3wood shaft,, the pro only had a ladies 45g.evenflow shift available so trying it completely surprising gained 10to15 yds,, yes I'm also going with strong lofts got a pxg 7 iron 2 degrees stronger as a experiment,, plus 50g shaft,, swing speed increases ball goes further,, best of luck cheers Alan 🤔😂😅
Put a f9 one length 19 in the bag for this season replacing my f6 normal hybrid. In testing I found no difference in distance but a much better grouping and much easier to hit when in trouble
Have you (or Dan) tried the Mizuno CLK hybrids? Really adjustable. I have a 4 hybrid at 22, knocked down to 20 to get that same spot as the one length and love the combination of ease of launch and ability to dial in through all the hosel settings.
Lee , bloody mind field mate , spent a fortune and went back to the trusty taylormaderescue 09 and bobby jones !! Whatever works on the day and as you know we dont know what is going to turn up !anyway enjoyed that cheers pal 👍👍👍👍

Been using an F8 one length hybrid for a few years now. Easily my favourite club.

Thanks Kevin
Changed my 5 and 6 irons in to one length, will be testing the hybrid when shops open as looks ideal, great test lee
how far can you hit it in comparison to your normal 7 iron

I love it. Thank you for the review. I have the cobra single-length irons and LOVE them. I definitely want to get the hybrids as well.

great content Lee, I am considering looking at fitting for one length irons and hybrid
what kind of distance do you think you would get out of the 19 hybrid? Do you think it would be longer than the one length 4 iron?
id carry a 19 hybrid about 25 yards further than a 4 iron
@@LWG thank you for your knowledge!

You should find it easier to control 👍

Testing the one length on Saturday Lee, I have a standard length speedzone hybrid currently but want see if this is more consistent for me

Have you done a review on 1-length irons?
I have not im afraid, cobra is hard for me to get hold of as I am not a cobra fitter
I liked this review but I would have appreciated some close ups of each club at the same time as you were talking about their looks. 🙂

NO I don’t think so mate, i certainly haven’t
@@LWG You can test it out on our round in July when i come to get fit for the wedges if you want to.

Hi Lee might sound like a silly question. Can you adjust the lofts on the cobra hybrids?
Yes I think you can. I don’t have them here anymore to check
How do you find these against the Cleveland halo Lee?
fairly similar in the standard length. The one length is much more manageable to control
Play one length irons, have a one length hybrid but struggle with it! A lesson I think when we can...
move the ball further back in your stance and hit it like a 7 iron, other wise you will hit it thin and low
@@kymstock1852 thanks Kym I was thinking the same last night when I watched Lee
Yea saturday reviews!!! Hope your holding up with everything going on right now both personally and otherwise.
Reg goes as far as a fairway wood. Seems like one length is better for a actual 3 or 4 iron replacemenr
If I could hit my 4H 200 yd’s I wouldn’t care if it was a one length shaft 🤭
I used a womens
You started well, wiping your nose then your hand so the boogie didn’t get stuck on the grip 🙌🤧
