Hello! From the information received from different mechanics, I knew that the value on the BMM engine should be between -1.5 and -2.5. As our information does not match, I would be curious to find out which is the correct version.
@@ianpgonzagahola.
@@ianpgonzaga hello. The 1.9 tdi bls engine after changing the timing belt fell just like you -4 / -4.4 and I left it at -1.4, it is much lighter to drive and has "nerve". Use Etdc16 which uses -1.5/-2.5 .
Go to far on intake won’t start if you go to far on exauhst car will ping I have my car mapped but through this iv de tuned my car I can boost it back up just by retading intake crazy how much difference it makes
Hi. I chose my torsion by the pop up in VCDS which informed optimal range. Can you see that for your engine? It might be different for yours VS this engine.
I have 2.0 TDi BKD engine, Octavia 2006, after timing belt change my idle consumption has risen from 0.5l/h to 0.7l/h and with AC on, it goes to 0.9l/h and now after driving about 10.000 miles, 15.000km the engine consumption has risen more, and I have to try this timing belt thing, my mechanic will say "it is not my fault" because he is an asshole and I just have to learn everything my self, I cannot afford to pay to assholes anymore. I hate cars. I dont have VCDS, only Delphi Autocom software, I hope that I can get these torsion values out of it too...
sorry to hear your performance has degraded. Yes try this adjustment to get the torsion more optimal. I find that with regular driving my consumption is average. With motorway driving on cruise control it takes about 400km before the consumption is very low again. Good luck!

Do you need to lock the crank or release the tensioner? Thanks
Hey Rory. No. So this is done AFTER you've changed all the timing belt and tensioner stuff.
Hi mate managed to get mine to -0.6 but now the engine just turns over and never starts, any ideas?
Oh no 😮
Does it work properly when you bring it back to its previous setting ?
Check timing...
What happened with this?

Hi got audi a4 b7 2.0 tdi bre whats the best torsion value is it 0.0 thanks

@@ianpgonzaga hi yes it showed on vcds range between -6 and +6 . Mine is at -3.6 at moment is that way off
Mine is a pd engine
@@abdulbeany1894 yeah that's out. If PD you get it as close to 0. as possible.
@@ianpgonzaga thank you very much appreciate that
The engine need to be warn or doesnt matter?
Doesn't specify so I was doing this with engine cold so I was able to remove and install the parts to adjust.
O.4 is ok ?
