Giveaway GSX - Engine Install and Polish

We started putting together the Giveaway ski and she's lookin mint. The gel coat is coming along nicely and looks damn near new. We also installed the engine and candy blue manifold so we can get a little hyped on what it will look like when done.

Nice work on the gsx, can't wait for the graphics! The only thing I would recommend is to do the sponsons now, preferably with an empty hull so you can lay down and reach the nuts and washers. Its an absolute pain to reach. I would have loved an empty hull when I installed the beach house sponsons. 🤷🏼‍♂️.

Premix helps me sleep at night but oil injection is sick for quick pump fill ups. Super hard to choose honestly.

We stuck with the oil injection. Easy to use and they rarely fail, the maintenance is the failure point

Hey fellas great vid as par!! Question...do you use a back brace to mount your sponsons for extra support ??...if so what material is it ?
I have two sets to mount soon one on a GSX and one on a SPX

Large fender washer will do the job just fine. Just make sure they are a 1 1/2 inch or so and they are thick

What kind of fuel line do you run?

I'm going to guess, and it's only a guess, but it looks like they might use Tygon Fuel Line.
From the Interwebs:::
"When you want or need tubing that is stronger and more durable than vinyl, pick Tygon fuel lines. These lines can be used with any type of gasoline and they offer resistance to swelling and hardening. Tygon remains flexible under extreme temperatures and will stretch easily over fittings and petcocks. Plumb your hungry engine to get the nourishment it needs to perform with Tygon fuel lines".
Just Google "Tygon Fuel Lines" and learn all about it.
