i've mentioned it in a past stream, but here's a summary of what i said: she REALLYYYY ticked me off in the "an etude to spread our wings" story. maybe i misinterpreted it or something (?), but the way rui treated toko was so disgusting to me. toko's struggles really resonated with me (and remind me a lot of adhd and its executive dysfunction symptoms, that are REALLYYYY hard to control (personally)) and seeing rui flaunt her skills while belittling (not really the right word though) toko for trying and still not being good enough... man. it hurt. i might look into more of rui's lore, but as of now, i really don't like her
