this game was so weird lol. the content ranged from scary to babyish
Yeah, this game had it all.
❤️
this game i loved it so much but i agree.... some parts of it scared the crap out of me
Those jumpscare raptors tho!!!
😄
That scared me as a kid though
FlashFwrdFilms YESSS SAMEEEEEE
I always thought they would actually kill you if you ran into them and stalked you around the maze, but I guess not.
What were their names??? It's driving me crazy
You mean... there was more to this game than just playing around with gold and rainbow dinosaurs?! This video sure brings back some memories haha
❤️
“Save the Dinosaurs” was apparently my gateway to survival horror as a child hahaha
Nice.
😄
Lmao the raptors in teh maze, voiced by a literal dude going RRRRAAAARRRGH
😄
I wish you had managed to save even one dinosaur. That game always scared me. But I noticed that it tells you what time period you can find the dinosaur in. Shouldn't be too hard to find them after that.
I understand if you didn't want to endure more "RAHHHHHH!", though. Personally, I think that's hilarious. Lol
I'm not so good at playing this game.
Sorry.
😄
I hated that game because of how the guy reacted if you lose.
I've been unable to figure out what this game was and that "RAHHHHHH!!!" sounds and visual has been seared into my memory since I was a small child. I am so glad I didn't imagine this and now I know what it's actually from!
I’ll be honest, I didn’t really have the nerve to go beyond the mission briefing.
@@kristophershepard2563 I was also scared to play this game rofl. But I really wanted to see just one dino get saved just to hear the vacuum/time noise when you capture one ;(
My anxiety attacks started when I played this raptor maze shit. I was so scared about the comet destroying the world and getting attacked by raptors.
Yeah, too much pressure on just one kid.
😄
Me too! I was just thinking of this game recently and wondered if it was online somewhere
Holy hell. I've thought about this game randomly over the years and just had the idea to look for a video. I had no idea what I was doing back then but I loved it.
❤️

It's funny how the comet impact is just a mushroom cloud from a nuclear test textured in a 3D box.
Yep, stock footage from back in the day.
Great vid, the nostalgia is strong with this game.
Yes it is.
😄
That doom clone game scared the crap outa me. Raaahh!
😄
Lol I remember the trex with gold skin lol best ever. He was like "gooooold I'm made of gooooold! Oop no dont hit that button! Please!"
😄
That Doom clone gave me childhood anxiety
Yeah, it's kinda hard to play today. The controls are just awful.
As a kid, the instant I saw those bugs appear I basically just shut off the entire computer in sheer horror. I was so terrified I didn't want to go back. 😆
Wow! That's a great childhood memory.
Thinks like that don't happen to us anymore.
😄
The ambience always played on my computer, but the background music never did. I now realize how lucky I was.
😄😄😄
I can't believe that I just watched this in quarantine 2020 jajajaj what a nostalgic.
❤️❤️❤️
I was really into dinosaurs as a kid after this, I even had a dinosaur birthday cake
Nice. How old were you?
@@TSMChannel well I’m 35 now so probably 12 give or take. Man I miss those times, before the internet blew up and life was simpler, society was less divided etc, im not saying the internet is bad but it feels like a double edged sword.
@@Phoenix-ov5gg Indeed. Computers were getting more and more popular and there was no issue with Social Media...
Singleplayer games were king back then.
I always panicked when playing this game, trying to hurry to get them all before the comet hit and avoid hearing the scream from the instructor.
Yep, it was a game full of anxiety triggers.
😄
I really, strongly wish you'd let all the dinosaur quotes in "Create-A-Saurus" play out in their entirety.
Sorry about that, we missed that one.
Agreed.
yeah becuse the one with wier fram pattern that sez " look ma! no internal orgains!" is still fried into my brain and makes me laugh
this game scared me so much but i kept playing wtf
😄
9:17 oh yes! that baby from that photo! now i remember!
Nostalgia.
😄
Thanks for uploading these
Glad you found them and like them!
❤️❤️❤️
"Who's the wiseguy who tie-dyed my favorite pajamas?"
😄
So like a lot of people I remember this game and have fond memories of it. I think. Came out in '93, same year as Jurassic Park, yadda yadda. Loved the game and the movie. However I was only 3 years old in 1993. The parts of this game that I remember, I remember perfectly. The parts I don't remember, are utterly alien.
The videos of the Dinamation animatronics (DinAmation, not DinOmation, if you wanna look it up) I remember perfectly, the shots, the movements, the music. Especially because I went to Marine World AND the local mall which had Dinamation dinosaurs. The owner scammed people and disappeared, super weird, look it up.
Additionally, I perfectly remember the world map part, the big murals and the music and even some of the voice clips.
I remember the read-along storybook almost perfectly.
What I don't remember, is most of the rest of the game. I don't remember the comet game in this part. I don't remember the theme park menu. I DO remember the shitty striped 3D model T-Rex in the video section, but not any of the Phil Tippet videos. I DO remember the allosaurus intro video, though not the stereoscopic version.
I'm just wondering if I was very picky as a kid as to what parts I looked at over and over, or if I had some other version of the game. The copy I had, the box had a big stegosaurus on the front and the sides were green with like "3-D DINOSAURS" in an industrial font in white, with floppy disks inside. The box art when I look up this game looks entirely different (and I also had "Dinosaur Adventure 3D" which is the game youtube seems to this this one is, with the animated parasaurolophus and is definitely not this game or even related but I also liked a lot)
EDIT: aha I looked up "Dinosaur Adventure floppy disk" and found the version I was thinking of. It wasn't a stegosaurus, it was some sauropod on the front. Seems to be the ms-dos version
Indeed. There are two version (or even more), the Windows version and the MS-DOS version.
@@TSMChannel yep, I got all excited thinking about old media and it took a whole big rant for the proper wording for a google search to occur to me and then I found it in about 5 seconds :p thanks for the videos!
@@wesleyrussell8386 ❤❤❤
"Hey kid, you got the Midas Touch."
😞
Ah, dang! I'd been looking for the 'look MA! No internal organs!' which I have a powerful memory of.
😄
00:11 "You were so busy wondering if you could, you forgot to ask if you should"
😄
So this is where my adult anxiety stems from
😄
FINALLY. I FOUND IT. THAT FPS MODE SCARED ME TO DEATH AS A CHILD
Indeed, but it had FPS mode, in a game like this. That was pretty cool.
Saving the dinosaurs from the comet always bugged me out when I was a kid.....wish you'd of saved just the 1
Sorry, i'm not a good player.
😄
For the "STOP" sign:
(At 10:53-10:54)
Announcer: "See you later".
😄
Funny, I recall it being “See you *soon*”.
8:00. *GAME OVER*
😞
Yeah. The comet hit the earth.
3:39 sounds more like bad acting pirates
😄
@TSM Chanel if it’s not too much trouble, do you think you can do a video of just the soundscapes presented in the main menu please? They always sounded so authentic to me back then!
Hi, that might be problem, if the developers or the original sound designers want to copyright the audio.
😞
Couldn't you have played the Save the Dinosaurs game and ACTUALLY saved the Dinosaurs? Or at least a few?
Sorry.
😞
I can't believe I accepted this garbage as "3D"...and I can't believe I played the whole damn thing... repeatedly. I must've been so bored in that suburb.
😄
Those were different times.
