Hythel I would replace a lot with some. What you may consider white is for me obviously middle-eastern mix. I know many euro jews who look much more middle-eastern than this guy.
Mr FøX I am not talking about hair color or eye color. Those are things that can vary regardless of ethnicity. Europe is full of brown eyes and dark hair but they still don't look middle-eastern. I am talking about facial structure. Of course there is overlapping and some (i don't like term arab) middle-eastern people look like north mediterranean just like you can find europeans who look middle-eastern. This dude however looks north Italian at most. He has north atlantid phenotype written all over him.
Mr FøX I personally find middle-eastern history extremely fascinating. It is odd how all the nations of that region suddenly become known as arabs when they are in fact tens of different ethnicities like in Europe. I would not say European genes are more dominant. I know syrians and Iraqis who are half white and I would classify them as askenazi jews (they are on average about 1/2 white). I can surely tell they are not "just European" just like you would be able tell they are clearly also from Europe. However mixes between Europeans and middle-eastern people seem to create people who seem to create people who in general would pass as some sort of non white European phenotype like those in Balkans. I myself have good amounts of middle-eastern/West asian dna and even though I am from northern Europe i am often confused as someone from Italy or spain. Indeed lebanese people are descendants of phoenicians. It is very interesting that they have remained as a relatively homogenous group. Apparently according to recent study phoenicians, amorites and israelites share common proto canaanite gene pool. If you ever take a dna test upload it to gedmatch. It is free academic data base that gives you much more precise results based on various oracles.

An amazing video must of watched it so many times in slow motion. I'm studying Iraqi Arabic have been for the past 3 months now. I would love to see videos explaining more on grammar and vocab stuff to piece together paragraphs of my own. studying videos is very helpful
Michael Robinson I’m glad it’s helpful, and extremely cool that you are learning Iraqi! What made you want to learn Iraqi in particular? Good suggestions for more videos. I hope to make more like the ones you’re suggesting.
John Filson work brought me out here. I always wanted to learn a second language and was undecided to either study fusha or a colloquial dialect so I'm putting my eggs all in one basket and sticking with Iraqi Arabic. is it possible to get your video translated into Iraqi Arabic script so I can break down each word and study its meaning.
Unfortunately I would need help with the script. I haven’t been able to invest in mastering fuS7a. But for learning, the best thing that worked for me was obsessively having a tiny notepad with me at all times and write down new words and phrases when I hear them (in English characters and numbers usually) and then make a point to use the new word three times that day. A trick I learned from a buddy in Ecuador.
John Filson btw the only thing i reacted to was when you meant to say ”20 months” you actually said ”years” but Im sure you just got them mixed up in the moment😊👍
Bro ur accent is sooooo good and am a Chaldean from Iraq and I’m so happy a foreigner can master such a hard language I had to learn English too and it’s really easy but a foreigner learning Arabic now my boi ur a very hard working and a passionate person 👏🏻🤧
My experience and observation is that English is not easy for Arabic speakers. The languages are very different and the challenges work in both directions. I have many Arab friends who have been learning English for many years who still make a lot of basic mistakes in speaking and writing. . . Because I'm learning Levantine Arabic I understand most of the mistakes that they make in English based on the logic and grammar of Arabic. However, I have to say that hearing native speakers say all the time that Arabic is so hard to learn can be quite discouraging for many Arabic learners, which is related to John's first point about being able to believe that you can do it. I prefer to say that Arabic is very different, not hard, and every day I keep working towards my goal of fluency. I truly enjoy speaking Arabic every chance I get! 😊
Thank you gamer a ! If I made videos that helped you learn Arabic, what would you be most interested in? For example, learning vocabulary, or learning pronunciation, or learning letters and writing, or something totally different?
Wallah I want to learn Iraqi Arabic soooo so bad!! It’s kinda hard remembering it and different tongue twists. My Spanish tongue gets in the way of some word pronunciations which makes it harder for me to try and pronounce words without dragging out the “ehghh” sound.
Oh David Wallah you can do it! Actually one advantage of being a Spanish speaker is the R’s. They are sharp flicks in Arabic just like they are in espanol. They are still hard for me as a native English speaker and our uniquely formed American Rs.
Human In Sight yes spanish R’s is what definitely gets everyone lol. Did you read any specific books to help progress the learning quicker? My gf is Iraqi and I’ve also learned some words from just hearing her say certain words more often then others and they get stuck in my head so I ask her about them but, I’m trying to secretly learn her language without her knowing 😁
Oh David no I just practiced a lot! Still struggle with them though. You can totally learn Iraqi! Here’s a fun way to learn a couple small things: ruclips.net/video/3p4aMm9JfC4/видео.html
You actually have advantage as a Spanish speaker (especially if you're from Spain), you already have the r's the j's and the z's not to mention the Arabic vocabulary you already use in Spanish. Good luck!!
Oh I am going to learn Spanish in 9th grade because there is a lot of Arabic words similar to Spanish words and I want to get a higher chances to be accepted at the college I want, are you thinking to learn another language ?😉
Yes, I also speak Spanish actually! But I would like to learn others, like Chinese. We will see. Yes there are many Arabic words in Spanish, like camisa (qamis), azucar (sukar) and Usted (ustaTH). Good luck! 👍🏼
I can’t believe you Americans your accent is unbelievable you speak as iraq people who live in north iraq or those who live and were born in other country I’m very happy to see your video,, I really appreciate your hard work 👍with all my respect from Sweden 🇸🇪 an Iraq woman who will be your new subscribers and your fans 😋🌹👏 Keep going and happy new year to you dear 🎄🎉

🌹I love you (and watch you from Iraq)🌹
I'm so proud about what you accomplished!!. Keep it up!
Huge respect for you ! Not only you mastered the dialect but your pronunciation is so good !! I m from north Africa... I may not speak Arabic as a mother tongue but dude you 're so good !!!
John Filson
work brought me out here.
Thanks mate, great advice thanks

Bro ur accent is sooooo good and am a Chaldean from Iraq and I’m so happy a foreigner can master such a hard language I had to learn English too and it’s really easy but a foreigner learning Arabic now my boi ur a very hard working and a passionate person 👏🏻🤧
Thank you Luna Alsharak !! 🙏🏼
لهجتك العراقية ممتازة ما شاء الله 🤍🤍✨️ بالتوفيق الدائم💫
I wish u can make videos that teachs iraqi arabic...u r amazing indeed
Thank you gamer a ! If I made videos that helped you learn Arabic, what would you be most interested in? For example, learning vocabulary, or learning pronunciation, or learning letters and writing, or something totally different?
Human In Sight i know how to write in arabic and i know some vocabulary, but i wish to learn how to construct sentences ..
You are amazing John I loved hearing you speak Iraqi ♥️
يا حبيبي فدوه شلون يحجي عبالك عراقي.. لعد احنه شبينه منتعلم الإنكليزية رغم ما هيه سهله واللغه العربيه أصعب

ماشاء الله لغتك العربية مُتقنة جِداً.. الله يوفقك👏👏
I would be glad to help ..
I am native speaker my self. ..
So if you need someone to teach you or practice Arabic with I am there 4 u
You actually have advantage as a Spanish speaker (especially if you're from Spain), you already have the r's the j's and the z's not to mention the Arabic vocabulary you already use in Spanish. Good luck!!
Hi John, we Iraqis love you a lot, especially after supporting the Iraqi people with the recent demonstrations❤️🇮🇶thank you.
Here is the world I am Syrian Arabic is my first and I learned English and yet we got Americans learning Arabic 😇
Thank you EverySpot7 Everyone should learn each other’s language! What language are you going to learn next?
Oh I am going to learn Spanish in 9th grade because there is a lot of Arabic words similar to Spanish words and I want to get a higher chances to be accepted at the college I want, are you thinking to learn another language ?😉
Yes, I also speak Spanish actually! But I would like to learn others, like Chinese. We will see. Yes there are many Arabic words in Spanish, like camisa (qamis), azucar (sukar) and Usted (ustaTH). Good luck! 👍🏼
Sending love from the Chaldean community, great story!
Now I cant even imagine him speak english anymore

I badly need to learn my lost mother tongue Hebrew/Syriac and Arabic. You are an inspiration ❤️
Well of you could speak Assyrian "Syriac" you would understand Hebrew and Arabic I'm Assyrian so I'm native speaker we can understand Jewish if they speak slow and clear same with Jewish if we speak slow and clear they will understand us

@@ashur3504 I am a Chaldean Nasrani of Jewish descent from Kerala, I would love to learn it but how to start!
Aleikhem shlama!
@@suriyanikkaran it's no easy I'll keep it real with you and you should answer me with bshena no aleikhem shalam you mixed Arabic and Syriac 😅 and Chaldean accent well they use too much Arabic words Assyrian eastern we don't use Arabic words Assyrian western aka Syriac aka aramean aka suryoyo they write in a different font and speak in a different way also something keep in mind there's 2 ways the one that we speak and the one we use I'm Bible etc if you speak biblical well they will be so happy and proud but some might not understand you so you kinda need to choose what you want it's like learning English but what accent should you pick if you pick Scottish no one will understand you so it's the same our language it's actually hard btw about the biblical and normal same goes with Hebrew same with Arabic all language have this 2 types where are you born how come you can't speak your mother Language ?
@@ashur3504 I don't know! That is why I said "lost mother tongue" 😢 My ancestors spoke and wrote in Syriac, we even had used Syriac to write Malayalam (Suriyani Malayalam). The Portuguese came and burned all the Syriac texts and somehow stopped us. From my dad's side there are stories that they escaped captivity from Ashur ( thought to be from Edassa), from my mother's side, they came from Iraq. I wish to learn what my ancestors spoke 500 years ago! If you know about Kerala, there's a huge Syriac Christian community here..... But now only priests know Syriac it is not taught in schools, only in a few arts colleges.... That too the formal version!
@@suriyanikkaran you know what I have alot of questions to ask you 😂 wow i did not got the complete details about you but...
