Tench Fishing - A Frustrating Afternoon!!

Tench Fishing at Himley Hall on the Great Lake and what a frustrating session it was! Nothing at all went right but this was a session where I learnt valuable lessons, both with my fishing and with my filming. I’ll be back for more so don’t go away - stay tuned as I’ll soon be back down to Himley for revenge 💪🏻🎣

Thanks mate. The weather is all over the place. Even when the sun was out I was freezing cold 🥶 so I can only imagine the fish must be affected. Hopefully next time I’ll fair better 🤞🏻🎣

The weather has skewed feeding behaviours near me. Chaps using maggots for Rudd are catching Tench and Carp. All I get on my mpellet baits are Bream. Its more like late winter behaviour

Same round here mate. My mate went to the same lake I fished yesterday and only had 2 perch. The angler in the next peg to him had 16 tench and lost several others.. he did that well he ran out of bait. The fishing is all over the place. It’s more like march than June at the moment…
