Honestly the developer commentary was my favorite part of Mind over Magnet. Not to slight it, I enjoyed the puzzles greatly. But as a long-follower of GMTK I feel like that commentary is the real closing episode of Developing.
haven't finished all my november indie game's so far.... I'm totaly late on my gaming schedule guys..... IT'S YOUR FAULT CLEMENT, you show us too many good games AHAH !!! I took Mercury abbey for our shared anniversary on the 21 !!! it's amazing.
Bought atlyss and magicraft before seeing this vide hah, haven't played atlyss yet but magicraft was quite fun for the first few runs. I'll get back to it when the poe2 hype relaxes. I wish metal slug tactics was an old school tactics RPG story game. I don't love these new style ones quite as much.
I don't like that new trend of youtubers SUDDENLY becoming game developers, it puts me off. When Mark Brown decided to make a game, I was interested in his process, but when he decided to make it a commercial game, his channel started feeling more like a very long advertising project than a real document on how to make games. Also, it's so ironic he made his name as an expert on game making and only after many years, he made his first game, he chose the puzzle genre, and struggled for a very long time to make his game if not good, good enough. I also feel like he really wanted to be famous, so he showed his face for that specific series. I don't know, I stopped watching his channel regularly when all that happened. Anyway, Threshold acquired. This game looks so intriguing.
Temtem Swarm is one of the worst Survivor-likes I've played because there is just no interesting build customisation even 8 hours into the game due to variety being locked behind a steep progression grind. The devs need to go back, look at why this genre is enjoyable and even look at games who get it right like DEEP Rock Galactic : Survivor.
Would you be willing to do a weekly video on NON pixel art games? I notice about 90% of your videos are all pixel art, and nothing against the art style, its just not my thing, so I end up scrolling through your timeline and watching maybe 60 seconds of your videos lol.
100% agree about too-many roguelike. dev: I must be original... I gonna make a... soul's like first person survival horror life managing platformer rpg dating-sims rogue-like deck builder... with dice.... oh man I'm so smart and unconventional...*insert "Directed by Robert B. Weide" theme*
Don't worry about showcasing games like metal slug tactics At this point everybody understands that indie game can also mean "small budget game" depending on context ❤
Thanks for the Rogue Command shoutout.
We are so happy to be finally out there. And the reception has been so amazing.

Back log getting heavy 😂. I'm right there with you 🎉
Very decent List.. Thx a lot!
Luma Island is my cozy game of the month! It's a great palate cleanser in between Stalker 2 sessions!
Atlyss, Elin, Metal Slug Tactics, Sorry We're Closed, Lost Eidolons, and Mirthwood - - - Rogue Command - - -
Beastieball is so gooooooood
Good games, wish magicraft was on switch tho.
You never talk about the new Indiana Jones game but as the name suggest it is clearly an indie game

What's the name of the Rogue Command review song?
"Turn based combat that we know and love" or a plague on the industry. One or the other.
Guys try Dokimon for a fresh idea of monter taming game.
23:03 Me: "Oh, this looks like a very promising game, I like the artstyle"
Me 5 seconds later: "Smash, Smash, Smash, Would, Smash, Smash..."
So sick of the rougelike stuffs and bullet hell atm

It's not his choice but the game developers choice!
PLS separate early access from full release !!!! I hate EA.
Indie is consumed with roguelike. Instant skip at this point
