love the blade clean kit, i just picked one up myself but haven't used it yet.. unrelated you said "3-5" cleanings per blade, if this is true you need to re-exam your sharpening service or it means your having cheap blades, blades with small carbide teeth, sharpened. I only say this because it caught me off guard as I have numerous blades that have been sharpened so many times they are closer to being a 9" blade than the 10" blade they started as, my point is you should get 10-15 sharpening's out of a good blade and if its been re-tipped even more.

The carbide teeth of a typical 10” saw blade can be sharpened between 4 and 6 times before they loose too much size. That info comes from the blade manufacturers, not me.
The carbide tips need to be wider than the blade body to avoid rubbing and heat. Every sharpening reduces the width of the tooth, so after 4-6, the tooth is no longer sufficiently wider than the blade body.
The thing is, if you keep the blade clean, the average woodworker will not dull a carbide blade over even a couple years of use, so 4-6 sharpenings is a good long lifespan.
If you have a high speed steel blade, and a good sharpener who knows their stuff, then yes, the blade can be sharpened many, many times.
