I have intermittent stabismus, (extropia, left eye). I like the pencil push-ups. You suggest 5 times per session. How many sessions per day? Any other exercises I can perform on my own without the help of a third party? Thank you!

3 months late but without unless you wear contacts, at least that’s how my vision therapist did it. i wasn’t able to wear contacts till i “graduated” from therapy but he said i could wear contacts for at home exercises as long as i also did it without sometimes.
I can do it quite well and the pencil is close to my nose before it splits but it is weird. Somewhere in between my picture around pencil starts to move closer to pencil like it's pulled closer to it, and after a few cm, my pencil splits. Is that normal?
Strabismus is the condition where one eye deviated in/outward. The patient has to have best corrected vision first before doing this therapy for it to work.
Has anyone actually doen their own vision therapy? Its expensive, can it be done on your own without spending 175 dollars a session? Seems like it would be.
