almost 10 years ago nopw, the first time i never got close to getting a sub on my coach was when I had used a sort of version of the ghost and came out on top right into the anaconda, i got all excited, but he didn't wait for me to roll him, and he just rolled himself, I managed to hang on and we ended up back in the spawl position, I tried to readjust my grip and he rolled again, this time I lost my lock and he just hit a sit through when we got to the spawl position again, sufficed to say I was gutted
Wrestlers are beast with Front Headlock, difficult to get those guys in any kind of Head & Arm Strangles. Easier to just to transition directly to Front Choke, and pray for the best.
Awesome and as always great details! We just drilled that yesterday and it never occurred to anyone to keep rolling through... Essentially, everyone made sure they drilled it into their heads to get chocked in these positions.
I remember talking to a dude at a bjj gym I was at once and he raised a very good point. Neither of us have ever seen a darce or anaconda defence being taught to the class. Weird l. Phenomenal work as always coach
Coach, when I lock my anaconda, I hold close to their triceps. This stops their arm from creating space. I can stop on my back, and bridge for the choke. If my hands are fought or blocked before anaconda, I switch to the Peruvian necktie. Sometimes give them the leg, so I can hit the necktie. I never saw the arm trap, that is beautiful
Hey brian, great stuff as usual. Do you have any techniques for defending the uchi mata? I often get uchi mata'd when I get a standing underhook and would love to know how I can avoid this
Hi coach I’ve been struggling with the arm drag defence to anaconda. I feel like I very much give up my base and also give them space for their head to roll/re-roll. The 360 roll is working great tho.
Hi I’ve been trying this escape and the roll is working brilliantly for me but the arm drag gives them the re roll every time. I feel like it removes my base and compromises my choke arm position. Any detail around this for me?
Is there a combo with anaconda where if the arm isn't closed across body and it's outwards towards the mat where it makes the anaconda not work is there a crucifix there? ... You said watch out for it to me last time and the alarm went off in my head ahhh crucifix but could someone hit it?
The student is to busy defending instead of understanding he i being trained. He must be focused on the motions while in position and know his coach will not hurt him
GOD DAMN, THIS is THE BEST free class, out of class. Thank you.
Came here to learn the choke defense - but that arm drag from the front headlock is amazing! 🤯 Thank you!
glad to see the dragout make a guest appearance
Best on RUclips 💪
Dope. My original shoot wrestling coach taught us the exact same sequence. Hes from the Lou Thesz lineage.
Oh, God! I would love to learn from coach Brian.
Greetings from Brazil!
As always...Great stuff! Thanks coach!

Brian is a great coach and way too underrated.
Adding the legs while squatting makes this almost like a necktie.
Thanks Coach🙏. You always have the best solution to all my question.👏👏👏👏
Happy to help!
Absolute gold Brian, thanks so much for posting! This was always a hole in my game. Fantastic! Best wishes from Scotland!!
Beautiful! I will definitely try this defense.

What's happened to Majid?
Did you mention that the darce escape was easier? I'm guessing you'll be dropping a darce escape video too 🤞🏽
It's already posted mate. Absolutely brilliant escape too!

Freaking clinic!
That move that you did your way should be called "Coach Brian 's Dick of Justice Choke!", lmao

Coach. A word of advice. Your intros are way too long. Maybe you should move the intros into Outros. Or into separate videos.
