I was up there in April, doing a LEJoG and then a JoGLE in my 1934 Austin 7! Total distance travelled over 11 days was 2,444, some of the nicest & exhilarating roads were in Cumbria & Scotland! Thanks for sharing.
Another enjoyable run out. I've tried to get video footage from the same angle in my 1932 Morris Minor Two-seater but the images end up very shaky, as seen over on my RUclips channel. Would be good to see how you secure your camera. In just a few days time, Thursday to be exact, I'll be heading from Worcestershire to the Norfolk/Suffolk border for the Pre-War Minor Network's Summer gathering. Given the Minor has limited performance I'll be keeping off motorways and dual-carriageways. I've managed to trace a route that'll also keep me on mainly rural roads, with no large towns or cities to navigate through. It's going to be about 180 miles each way, plus a Saturday tour of about 80 miles and a shorter, 40 mile tour on Sunday. I'll be heading home on Monday.
Glad you enjoyed the video. I have a cheap, universal jointed camera holder with a vice grip, which I clamp onto a wooden rail which is on the back of the seat, or onto the windscreen for a passenger eye view. I think the lack of shake is due to the camera - a DJ Osmo Action, which I'm very pleased with. It has built-in software to reduce camera shake. Your route for your trip sounds good. Have a great time!
@@AdventuresinaMorris Thanks for the sharing your set up. I'll have to find a similar clamp to use on the wooden rail that also sits behind the seat. I'll have to pop out to the garage and check if the hood will get in the way. I have to admit I'm feeling a little apprehensive about the long drive, but also looking forward to the endeavour.
I've been waiting for a new episode and this one didn't disappoint, beautiful and inspiring; thank you.

The sped up footage at the end really needs a bit of comedy chase music...
