My young crestie had crickets for the first time the other night. Must’ve been a lucky break but after a few minutes he ate one that walked by. Couldn’t get him to eat another until tonight trying this. First one he didn’t seem too interested in but the second one was much juicer and he picked up on it right away. Now munches away happily on them, can’t wait for him to grow! Still only 5 months
Fed my new baby crestie his first cricket last night. He had zero interest so I left the light off a walked away. A couple minutes later and I saw the crickets was nowhere to be seen, so it was a success! (I knew he ate it because it was in a piece of tall Tupperware with him) Ge wouldn’t eat another 😂 I will try again later this week wish me luck
Bro this video helped alot, i was having trouble cause i want tonfeed my gecko crickets again cause i had messed up and fed him crickets everyday for like a week and so i stopped the crixkets for a month and now he is eating the Pangea again. Now that i watched your video i now know not to give him both crickets and pangea at the same time but to do seperatly amd only 1 time a week starting out is what i will do so thanks brotha!!!!
ya its common for them to prefer crickets at a younger age. Keep providing the fresh diet though. even if it doesn't seem like they are eating it, they probably are, just small licks 🦎❤
That was cool. My crestie would devour crickets and dubia's when it was really young, but at a year and 3 months old now she won't eat bugs at all
My baby gecko had its first cricket last night because of this video. Thank you.

Thanks. My baby crested gecko is now eating mealworms, waxworms and calci worms like a champ now.

I’m lucky my baby gecko loves crickets

I pulled the back legs off the crickets so they didn’t jump lol & dipped them in Pangea 😂 it worked .
🤣 like dipping fries in ketchup! lol
@@Guardiansofthegeckos Yeah lol 😂
I really don't like the idea of keeping crickets. Are black soldier fly larvae okay to give since they are a good source of calcium
I can't get mine to eat the powder just mealworms an crickets😢
i used this way to success feed my gecko, but she refused the 2nd one...
My hatchlings love crickets and hate mrp.
