New XLights user here and WOW is xlights LOADED with features! This use of Queen Mary plugin will REALLY make sequencing faster for me (at least my first attempt at it). Thanks!
Thanks for the video - I learned a lot. You did kinda swap bars vs. measures though. Measure is usually 4 beats (in 4/4 timing). Bar is usually 4 measures. I hope it isn't reversed in XLights.
Yup tried everything i could to get these working but ended up not being able to get the plugins working either installed audacity and dropped the .dll plugin in the plugin folder of audacity and wasn't able to get it going still got the small box and in the same boat as stawolf73
another question, what would you suggest for an effect on a basic outline to go with the beats? I don't have arches, just a basic outline of my house and windows but I would like something that would go along with the beat. thanks
thanks for the info. i followed you step for step in the plugins, couldn't seem to download. I currently have the new version of xlights 2016.51. Want able to install. I dontknow what I'm doing wrong, Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Try downloading and installing Audacity (from Sourceforge). Then download and install the Queen Mary Vamp plug-in. Finally open up xlights and try creating a sequence and adding a new timing. (make sure you close out of xlights and re-start!)
Hi, Thanks for sharing unfortunately look like they change lots of things recently as the url doesn't provide anymore VAMP plugin executable. Only an old version with dll that need to be install manually. Is there any URL where I can find this executable plugin. Thanks

Very Helpful, very easy to understand after hearing and watching you. Without this, I was lost in a sea of options that made no sense.
I really enjoyed this video. It was very informative and well done. Thank you for taking the time to share.
Thank you. I was copying my files into program files not program files x86. everything works great. Thank you Clyde for all the tutorials.
This is a game changer. Worked through my own newb install issue, 64 bit vs 32.

Thx Clyde, this helped me alot!
Nice, glad to hear it.
Nice video, very Informative, Can please help me create timing mark to each bass beat and any measure tone
You add manual timings by pressing the Lower Case "t" while playing the song. Then adjust to suit.
@@leechburglights is there any way to generate bass timing automaticaly

How do install the Queen Mary files in to program files x86. Can any one help. I am lost.
whats it mean when you add a beat track, and it asks for beats per bar and gives a range from 2 to 16?
How many beats do you want displayed per measure.
