    Aaah! The method to your madness is revealing itself...LOL! I love to organize, which works out for me a lot because my son likes to disorganize Mommy's room. I like your drill idea with the support spring thingy from the ceiling. Nice work. :o)

    I am going to add an edge. The area behind your ring holder and to all the space that is not used by myself nor the clients. That way it will insure that nothing falls off the table just in case it's bumped or pushed back too far by accident.

    I am planning on getting one custom made for myself but before I go to far with it I just wanted to ask if you find it very bulky?
    And if you may know how much space is between you and your client?
    That is the only part I am having trouble with is the space between me and my client.
    Thanks so much! Keep up with the videos absolute love them!

    A suggestion for your tall polish bottles - I have a spoon rack hanging on my wall that I have hardly any spoons on and it has heaps of space (the length of a teaspoon and then some) between each row. I have thought of using that as a polish rack, maybe by attaching some picture wire or a very thin dowel just above each row to stop the bottles from falling off. It would have to be hung on the wall, but since you want to clear up your desk anyway something like that could work for you. I picked mine up form the side of the road ages ago because I felt sorry for it. Didn't really have a use for it back then. But you're sure to find them on Ebay or in thrift shops.

    Hi Talia I recently got my nail tech license and I'm interested in investing in a nail drill/ electric file but I'm hesitant to buy one from Amazon or EBay can you recommended a reputable vendor to buy from. I don't know much about e files we barely covered it in school but I'm really interested in learning because I know how much time it saves versus a manual file. Any insight you have would be greatly appreciated

    • @TaliasNailStudio
      @TaliasNailStudio  9 лет назад

      +Tracey Ann Langan Hi Tracey,
      I would highly recommend taking a course on how to use an efile. They can cause serious damage if not used correctly. It will also really help you to feel more confident when using it, to take a course. I know for me, that was what I was most nervous to learn when I first started! Check around to your local nail supply vendors for workshops. If you are in Canada, I can suggest some of the suppliers I shop at as to where to look. My e-file is an Erica MT20. So check the Erica website to see if there are any suppliers near you :)

    For your cord issue, you can cut some pvc pipe and decorate it to look like a column. Either a Greek look or sponge paint it with pinks to match your decor. It would look amazing. An idea for getting those things off your desk, it looks like there is a space between the desk and the wall, if so I would purchase another drawer unit to set those things on. You can't have too many drawers. lol.

    Its not a ENGINEER that would do this type of work. Any "CARPENTER" person can make this with layers of wood that is glued together, cut to desire shape, and then laminate sheet is cut and glued to "NEW" shape. All supplies can be found at Home Depot /Lowe"s etc . I'm in process of having my own nail table custom made. Adding 3 nail stations to my Hair Studio.
