Bro thanks for the Video Its Great!! But bro there is one Problem with alchemy maybe i can help me with that. When i preview an 808 in the browser from alchemy, and i Imported it, it Sounds Crazy distorted when i play it with ma Midi Keyboard or Programm it inside the piano roll
Thx bro. Maybe you sampled the 808 into additive mode instead of sampler? Otherwise it could have some effects on it in alchemy cus you didn’t initialize preset first. Or it could just be that the volume inside alchemy is too loud off rip. Hope that helps. If you’re still having issues try using quick sampler. Much easier to get it sounding clean imo🫡
Ahh so when u preview ur drums in the browser from logic(Not the browser in alchemy) they are hitting above 0db in the Mixer Channel(Not the Master Channel ) ??:)
hey bro another question for you. im looking in to getting a midi controller and am in between the akai mpk mini and the mpk mini plus. rn theres a sale on the mini plus so its only $40 more as opposed to $70. do you think that the mpk mini plus is worth it for the 37 keys/other features or would you stick with the regular mini?
I’ve had a few akai mini ‘s, the plus sounds dope tho. Personally I have the Arturia Minilab 3 and imo it’s way higher quality than the akai. So I’d recommend that but if you’re def going akai then the plus sounds dope to me. Hope that helps
@@xav13r ive heard the drum pads aren't the best quality on the arturia minilab 3. what is your experience with the drum pads? also, do you feel 25 keys is sufficient or do you find yourself wanting more keys?
The drum pads are high quality for sure, at least as good as the akai. And the regular mini (25 key) is definitely enough for me. Haven’t found myself wanting to upgrade to the bigger size. It’s more portable that way too

Bro thanks for the fast reply
Maybe its because my 808 sample goes Over 0db
Did Ur 808 sample also go over 0db (Clip)
No worries. Yeah I tend to have mine hitting between 0 and +1, with a soft clipper on the master so it doesn’t distort in a bad way

No they come in right at 0db by default. I make the 808s to make sure
