Hi I just want to tell that in SC:FA are 4 type of weapon range: anti-air is thick blue line, torpedo is thick green line, direct fire weapons is red line and altillery weapons is yellow line. I hope I helped :)

You know the Perses mega-turret, the giant gun with a shield that's just 4 giant quad-barreled turrets on top of each other? You should make more on the perimeter and have some AA and antinukes in the shield radius (needs at least 9 of said turrets) and nothing short of a massed experimental rush can stop you. I usually build a big line of dozens of them myself and focus on countering air attacks.
I would have explain all the color range, but someone already do so in the comment so I'll stop with just... Why ? Why !? WHY !? Why don't you upgrade those damn assist station !? Just in case, you upgrade them the same way as mass extractor. The UEF one have only one upgrade available contrary to the two for their Cybran conterpart, but you can directly control the flying little drone and ignore the range limit of the station (though you must then control them directly). While they can't initiate construction, their build rate is quite something (better than T3 enginner if I remember correctly) and their small size make them difficult target for anti-air unit (though with only 6 HP, one shoot is more than enough). If they are destroyed, they will be rebuild in their station quite quickly. Select them all and use the assist command on your ACU then build your experimental anywhere you want, you will have the impression that your commander is surrounded by fly but the build rate will be tremendous without the traffic jam associate with all the enginner and s(upport)ACU !
You are not wrong this is an awesome strategy and you forgot to mention late game when artillery spam becomes the thing it's almost impossible to get enough Engineers on your shield generators to assist them but with the flying drones you can do an almost endless amount on a single T3 shield generator and and that way they're much better than the hives as you can only have them help when the main tower is in range really under-valued thing late game some maps don't quite have the build space for you to spam up hives around the map but you could just have a huge kennel farm and have them assist all the necessary children writers and be fine without any interference it would be much much harder to do with hives thanks for saying that though cause a lot of people probably didn't know
Can someone tell me all the mods he's using I have the nuke mod but some of them that people are saying in the comments seem wrong. I have no mecha like this
I have to ask what mod is he using in the forged alliance forever, me and my friends play it all the time and we've never seen these units, we play blackops all the time.

We played black ops because every tier including experimentals got a bunch of additions to it, thats why we loved it so much, I remember back when we played about 2 years ago the two BIG mod choices were BlackOps and one other which more focused on Tiers 1-3 units and had space ships rather than experimentals, been looking for a good mod that does a mix of everything.
@@DeathSithe92 Total Mayhem is literally the best mod available (perhaps next to BrewLAN). It adds new units from t-1 to a huge list of new Experimentals. Each tech have their own weaker experimentals as well.

That link you provided to "Get supreme commander mods" is not that. There are no mods there, just the fa project. So, where the heck do we get this mod??? Nvm. I figured it out. But the "total mayhem" mod the UEF does not include this giant mech. So, whats the deal? Also, these mods slow down the game to the point its simply unplayable. Well, what a dissapointment.
Total Mayhem mod. Sorian AI mod lets the AI make mod units and improves on the original AI, and Black Ops mod gets rid of the "Placeholder" image and adds custom image in the build ui.
I download the same mods. Unfortunately, it's not working properly. For example, the mech animation for walking is broken. They just hover. Any solutions?
