*Story 2:* The second someone like Bonehead tells me to not do something that could actually save the company thousands to millions of dollars, I'd ask him to put it in writing, check with the owner, get his opinion in writing, then tell them the magical words no sane employers want to hear: "I quit, I'll see you at the courthouse trying to defend yourselves against the big dogs above you: the federal government."
During WWll my Dad was a Forward Observer in the Army. During the night they were to lob Mortar Shells randomly into a village as a nuisance, to keep the enemy hunkered down. But they were forbidden to use any of the Starburst Flares as the civilians would confuse them for chemical weapons being launched in the villages. One night Dad and his fellow soldier wondered what the Starburst Flares would look like if shot into the village. So they launched one, knowing they would catch hell by their command! He said the villagers were racing hysterically about in the village, thinking they were under a chemical attack! Sure enough they were contacted right away by command wanting to ‘now why they had shot flare into the village. They said that due to the fact that they had no lights on illuminating their position, that they mistakenly fired the flare off as it was pitch black at their post. So they ended up getting off the hook, for shooting the flare.
1st story: Ok who wants to bet steve knew someone in upper management 2nd Story: what a Dumb Arse 3rd Story: sniper decided to go ' f it time to give you warning that you won't forget '
First Story: What does Steve even do? This man creates hostile situations, micromanages coworkers, report every small thing, is blatantly homophobic and misogynistic, and in general an awful person. Hearing this, all I heard was Steve being a rat, a kiss ass, and someone who just bark orders Second Story: U would think the owner would realize the reason for the decline of the company was Bonehead's choices but I’m sure he will realize it when the company goes out of business Third Story: I mean, they didn’t say OP's dad had to shoot the flare in the air, there was no rule the flare couldn’t be shot at the sniper
No. I am a combat veteran, and flares look absolutely nothing like a rocket or missle. Rockets and missles don't have anything to make them emit light like a flare and even an obsolete rpg2 rocket is going to be moving 2x the speed of a flare.
If you look directly at a flare you can give you blinded by it. Also I don't think it would be against the rules to be able to use a sling shot against those gorillas because technically it's not a bullet and they can't say that they were hit by a lethal round.🤫
"Sling" and "non-lethal" are not meant to be in same sentence. I have few slings and I can tell you that a sling is terrifying weapon. And staff sling is something right from nightmares, stone from staff sling sounds like swarm of hornets and has enough power to remove you from your shoes.
I don't know if it's malicious compliance, as my brother didn't do as he was told, but as I was told "don't ask for help unless you need help" Kid ran into a sexist teacher that wouldn't let him take cookie classes for being a boy. Instead of going to our parents, my brother borrowed my law book, marked the law about discrimination, read it aloud in class and politely asked the teacher not not break the law. In front of the whole class full of kids with the same problem. School called my parents, asked why they didn't call and ask for a cooking class for their son. My parents asked my brother, why he decided to confront the teacher instead of asking for help. Kid pointed out that you aren't supposed to ask for help unless you need help.
The Vietnam flare story : well no crap they stopped taking pot shots a flare from a flare gun is about 2000 °f it probably melted through that guy like a hot knife through butter
If the sniper is wearing night vision goggles the flare will be blinding too with probably retina burns are minimal damage to the eyes permanent blindness at worse.

To the "just a flare" comments, we need to consider, what a "flare" is made of to burn that bright! ... usually Magnesium is involved. You do not want to get shot with burning Magnesium. 🔥
First story. Steve is just a coworker he needs to mind his own business. I work in a clinic cleaning and my boss doesn't stand for this. Any issues with other staff you go to her no talking behind backs. This is on the manager for not correcting Steve
1 story, oh gosh the cleaning staff, they where always so sweet, my mom is allergic to perfume, that includes the smell on cleaning products, and she often feels really cold and i just couldn't turn the ac off because of, you know higher heat increases reproduction of stuff, they always were so understanding and even gave my mom 2 very fluffy blankets
God the doctors the heavy work people(don't know what its called in english, they helped my mom turn and bath) everyone i am so so grateful, mom has ptsd now and panics in hospitals, but it wasn't humans fault, if anything they helped her staying sane, played music while she was in a coma((she remembers everything and recognized the voice of who sang for her, a true angel)) thank god for medicine
Fun fact, I knew some one like Steve (story one) in highschool. Very homophobic, transphobic, and racist. I'm so glad I'll never have to see that person again
There's game called Borderlands 2, and as a side quest, your supposed to set up a shield system for a small oppressed village to protect themselves from a larger corporation that have mortar cannons. It sounds weird, just go with it. The entire time you are out doing things, you are constantly hearing a man named Dave belittle the town's leader, who is a woman, with sexist remarks, telling her that "she would only be needed if the town needed a big sandwich" and that she couldn't even make a shield system because women aren't smart. In the end, we are asked to test the shield system by going over to the large corporation and firing a mortar at the town. And the town's leader just "forgot" to turn the shield on and "accidentally" gave us the wrong coordinates for a mortar shot, directly hitting Dave's home and sends his house tumbling down a cliff. The happiest ending to a quest I have ever done. As the town's leader very nicely put, "Do you want to know what the best thing about Dave is? He's dead."
A coworker buddy of mine was in an engineer batallion in 'nam. He drove a bulldozer. "Rules of engagement" said he wasn't allowed to fire unless fired upon first. Yeah, right. If he "saw anybody sneaking around in black pyjamas" he would pull his '45 and send a few rounds in their direction. He constantly got reamed for it, even spent some time in the brig. I think he also got busted one rank, not sure after 30 years. "But you'll notice I'm here to tell the story."
During the Vietnam war American soldiers used dogs to sniff out bombs and find snipers. The Vietcong put out bounties on these dogs and their handlers. Snipers would track troops then ambush the dogs at night. One day an American sniper protecting a platoon saw a flash of light and fired in the direction of the flash. His bullet went through the Vietcong sniper's scope unaliving him.
That last one was a flex on so many levels. “I always knew where you were, here’s you in case you thought otherwise.” Your camo, wack Your position, wack Your accuracy, wack Your buddies defending the are, wack

Last story: idk can't really find this story satisfying since you know the us was invading a country for economical reasons, so basically the villains ( the us soldiers) won in this story
For the first story when I learned this was the EVS staff, it all fully made sense. Environmental service is the WORSE section in the hospital to work in.
One of the stories is weird, like safety checks sound illegal not to do and OP didn't report the company for it. Why? At this point OP feels like an accomplice in their shady actions through his own inaction
Story 1: first off i am on OP side here but the way the story is presented is questionable. Let me explain if op was in a meeting with their director and HR manager with the case being dismissed then they immediately open a claim on Steve, Steve would have grounds for a retaliation lawsuit/claim as OP and everyone at the meeting admitted it was Steve who filed the complaint. Second telling Steve and the group of the outcome of the meeting and the resulting strikes on Steve's conduct report. Again this could be used by Steve as a targeted campaign by OP and management for wrongful(we know its not but hey legal system) termination. I'm glad op got a positive outcome but the story is just feels kinda overblown in events.
The last one leaves a few holes. I'm not saying I don't believe it, just that without more details it doesn't make sense. How were they harassing the people? I'm guessing based on the context both of the rest of that story and the one it was in response to that it had to do something with sniping, but then certainly that would qualify as getting shot at which would allow return fire. Like, even if they were intentionally missing, how do you know that? Are the orders "don't shoot back until one of you gets hit?" And if they weren't harassing them using guns, then how did they know it was the snipers who were doing it, or how did the snipers do it in a way where they thought they were hidden?
Last story: I was listening in the background and it took a few seconds before I realized it was guerillas and not gorillas. It was planet of the apes for a few seconds there.
I had someone tell me that thing Steve said about "not being f'ed well enough" when i told them i was a trans guy.... some people need to understand that being f'ed isn't going to change anything
5:10 not valid reasoning. 2 skeletons of 4 foot tall women, totally took down the hulking powerful brother of KimJongUn. It doesnt matter how small you are..in fact...its a psych advantage.
Lots of strange things went on in Yugoslavia in the 90's. I remember stories of the British soldiers "borrowing" bicycles so that must have endeared them to the locals. Another one was a sniper in an abandoned building taking pot shots while a high ranking officer was visiting. He ordered an armoured vehicle to spin around and hose the building down with a chain gun until the problem went away. It did.
Because the world can still be pretty LGBTQ-phobic these days, a lot of LGBTQ people prefer to stay quiet about their identity, either for the sake of their mental health or actual physical safety. I mean, as you saw in the video, the man has said stuff along the lines of "You're only a lesbian because you haven't met the man who can fuck you right", suggesting that a gay person could be fixed with "good heterosexual sex" (Such phrases are commonly used against Asexual people too, because society is so sex focused). Additionally, some extremists will actively go out of their way to physically harm LGBTQ people rather than just verbally harass or threaten them. So it's not always safe to openly be LGBTQ, which is why it is a somewhat important detail. Especially when the story regards a misogynistic, overly conservative rube like the one in the story.
Probably means that she doesn't hide her sexuality, talks about her girlfriend and life experiences The "very openly straight" is not used because society is pretty heteronormative so some people would assume you're straight without clarification
RE: the first story. It's only a matter of time before Steve slips up and says something he's not supposed to and gets himself fired. Then, he'll complain about how "woke" policies and his "free speech" being taken away was why he is no longer employed.
so two women took the side of another woman. wow sexism at its finest eh? male complains and all it takes is a woman saying "i didn't do it" yet a woman mentions anything about a male counterpart and its immediately followed up with disciplinary actions. yea real fair. how many males filed SA/SH reports and these women let them pass just cause the accused said "it never happened". horrible place to work.
Also, no company can blacklist you without felony charges being levied and proven. so to even threaten blacklisting immediately consist of a hostile work environment. it also creates slander and defamation threats. Steve should have known his rights and sued. Not to mention preferential treatment to females compared to males. which the burden of proof to prove differently is on the hospital.
Second Story: Bonehead was that bad that 15 people quit during the pandemic, that how you knew it was that bad cause people was struggled to find a job and the owner just didn't care along it was made money and it also sound like they was cut shortcut to and illegal to so OP I wouldn't even worry about that company cause that company going get shut down and last story: the sniper was probably shit brick think it a RPG or something head your way and that true like OP dad shot where they at and the snipe knew that one day they may get killed
9:58 We all need "LGBT learnings" to set everybody's mind straight? This is so stupid. I would like this person to have to take training on the learnings of decency in society.
Love hearing narcissists getting put in their place
1st story: Ok who wants to bet steve knew someone in upper management
2nd Story: what a Dumb Arse
3rd Story: sniper decided to go ' f it time to give you warning that you won't forget '
First Story: What does Steve even do? This man creates hostile situations, micromanages coworkers, report every small thing, is blatantly homophobic and misogynistic, and in general an awful person. Hearing this, all I heard was Steve being a rat, a kiss ass, and someone who just bark orders
Second Story: U would think the owner would realize the reason for the decline of the company was Bonehead's choices but I’m sure he will realize it when the company goes out of business
Third Story: I mean, they didn’t say OP's dad had to shoot the flare in the air, there was no rule the flare couldn’t be shot at the sniper
Gorillas 💀
"Sling" and "non-lethal" are not meant to be in same sentence. I have few slings and I can tell you that a sling is terrifying weapon. And staff sling is something right from nightmares, stone from staff sling sounds like swarm of hornets and has enough power to remove you from your shoes.

I don't know if it's malicious compliance, as my brother didn't do as he was told, but as I was told "don't ask for help unless you need help"
Kid ran into a sexist teacher that wouldn't let him take cookie classes for being a boy.
It definetly is
That flare shot honestly reminded me of time spiltters future perfect during the story mode
Reminded me of playing Far Cry ^^

If the sniper is wearing night vision goggles the flare will be blinding too with probably retina burns are minimal damage to the eyes permanent blindness at worse.
First story - OP, that was AWESOME !!!
I had a coworker leave on their own, (thank God), but they were SO disgusting !!! He wore his pants 10 sizes to big and NO underwear, we unfortunately seen everything that Mother Nature didn’t bless him with.
To the "just a flare" comments, we need to consider, what a "flare" is made of to burn that bright! ... usually Magnesium is involved. You do not want to get shot with burning Magnesium. 🔥
I've seen a ribbon of magnesium burning-a bright white flame with the luminosity of a welding arc.
Thank you for posting everyday I love getting ready while listening
Flare: You think it's a bad idea to F with the IT guy? You'd have vapor where your head should be before you know a sniper has you in range.
Good morning thank you for all your hard work this is the best part of my day rslash
Steve: "How dare you make a hostile work environment"
Also Steve an hour later: you bitch!!!!
They were allowed to gtfo from vietman too.
the soldiers weren't you think people wanted to shoot at other people?

Did Rslash took notes from Darkfluff to tell the story of the one in the title last? I've been watching Rslash videos daily and this is the change that I've noticed for a bout a week or so.
First story: If I was reported for that petty reason, I would look to cause real physical harm. If someone wants me fired I will give a real reason.
As a fan of Kitboga too, the name Steve is infamous lol.

"Could you not be yourself....FOR 5 MINUTES?!"
Last story: idk can't really find this story satisfying since you know the us was invading a country for economical reasons, so basically the villains ( the us soldiers) won in this story
lets not villanize the troops. villanize the politicians.
@@cludecat7072Villanize those who invaded a country and killed and raped the civilian population.
That last story is sus, not saying that a sniper cant do that, but that it was the vietnam war, if you know history you know what im talking about
For the first story when I learned this was the EVS staff, it all fully made sense. Environmental service is the WORSE section in the hospital to work in.
8:06 the best line i ever heard.
I got confused when Rslash said grunt since he usually means something else when he says that
The last one leaves a few holes. Are the orders "don't shoot back until one of you gets hit?"
And if they weren't harassing them using guns, then how did they know it was the snipers who were doing it, or how did the snipers do it in a way where they thought they were hidden?
Not me refreshing my page exactly at 8 till r/slash posts to make sure I am caught up. 😂😂

i'm sorry i would have went back down there after steve call me a b**ch to get him caned.
I know you meant to type "canned," but now I have a hilarious mental image of Steve getting his butt repeatedly whacked with a stick.🤣
First story contains too much nonsense to believe it actually happened.
All it needed was everyone stood and clapped.
I'm so used to hearing rSlash use "grunt" as cover for the c word that I had to stop and think "What rank in the army is a c*nt?" XD
Never forget: Vietnam won. ❤🇻🇳❤
2 million civillians and 1.1 million vietnamese died in the conflict. War has no winners
14:20 So basically, OP's father harassed the enemy Sniper with the Scorch Shot, and his team harassed him for it. :p
That last story... ROFL
It sure happened.
It did.
First story, I'm curious to know what "very open lesbian" means. If I said I was "very openly straight" I think that would be a bit strange, no?
Probably means that she doesn't hide her sexuality, talks about her girlfriend and life experiences
The "very openly straight" is not used because society is pretty heteronormative so some people would assume you're straight without clarification
Yeahhhhh... Canadians aren't really known for their..hospitality in times of war..
RE: the first story. It's only a matter of time before Steve slips up and says something he's not supposed to and gets himself fired. Then, he'll complain about how "woke" policies and his "free speech" being taken away was why he is no longer employed.
Considering how Vietnam kicked the crap out of USA i was expecting that story to go differently.
so two women took the side of another woman. wow sexism at its finest eh? male complains and all it takes is a woman saying "i didn't do it" yet a woman mentions anything about a male counterpart and its immediately followed up with disciplinary actions. yea real fair. how many males filed SA/SH reports and these women let them pass just cause the accused said "it never happened". horrible place to work.
Also, no company can blacklist you without felony charges being levied and proven. so to even threaten blacklisting immediately consist of a hostile work environment. it also creates slander and defamation threats. Steve should have known his rights and sued. Not to mention preferential treatment to females compared to males. which the burden of proof to prove differently is on the hospital.
first story was boring
edit: just reached the second story, its boring too
lol, the canadian snipers taking pictures of the enemy snipers for them to see they knew exactly where they were ...
Why bring up anything about sexuality aka who you're doing at the work place LGBTQAI? We except anybody (other than straight people).
The Sniper: This is so easy, they don't know I'm because of the darkness!
OP's dad: Guess again mother f-
*Burns out the sniper's eyes*
Second story doesn’t feel right. That’s a lot of punishment for no-proof accusations, by both of them.

It is Guerrilla and it's because it comes from the Spanish word for "little war." I wondered where the term came from years ago in school when I studied war.
