Thanks it's very simple instructions I had no issues at all. The only thing I changed was the RUclips button on Google Chromecast TV. I have a modded RUclips so I uninstalled the normal RUclips then mapped the RUclips button with my modded RUclips and it works perfectly. Thanks very much. (Google Chromecast TV 1080P version)

Very easy, thanks. Worked like a charm. I don´t have Netflix so first I deleted the App and later mapped his button.

Did someone test on a TCL rc833 remote control? I just want remap TCL channel button to HBO Max
so you can't say remap the home button so it could be used as a bindable key in kodi. (essentially remap the key to send the letter k as an example)

i set the netflix button to "no action" for all 3 actions (single, double, long press) and exited the app. Hit the netflix button to test it and it still opens netflix. Any suggestions?

Button Mapper is not working anymore with Xiaomi TV Stick 4k remote control. Instead of key mapping - when you press Netflix or Prime Vide button - just these applications are starting.
Been using this app since I got my Nvidia Shield new triangle remote. Was constantly hitting the stupid netflix button....

So does this makes it possible to turn on and off the tv with a button like RUclips? It's a pain in the ass I still need a second remote just to turn off the tv and the speakers.
I changed netflix button on nvidia shield remote to mute when pressing it , but it still opens netflix.
Have mine open my VPN, works most of the time...... Occasionally still opens netfux even though I have disabled it on the shield.... One day I will find a way to remove netfux altogether!
I accidentally assigned my center button single press to a web browser. Now when I attempt to navigate to fix the issue, of course the assigned web browser intercepts my attempts to navigate. How do I reset the remote back to factory settings without a working center button which is necessary to navigate? I tried the batter removal method. Nothing seems to work.
Plug in a mouse or a keyboard if you can and delete the app and your remote will be normal again
