Interesting technique. In donut shops, these donuts are made using a batter and a hopper to drop them into the hot oil. Home versions of the hopper are available, but getting the batter consistency just right is important. Your technique of cutting them gives them a similar look. Nice video.

You really don't need to take all that time cutting your Donuts in their little squares cuz they'll split all by themselves and when you put them in the fryer I promise they will

The recipe looked fantastic. Wish there had been a way to print off the recipe rather than watch this video over and over and over again. The recipe turned out to be a complete catastrophe for us. The dough was waaaay too thin. There was no instruction on whether to measure the flour first or sift first and then measure. Not every home is equipped with a Kitchenaide mixer and a dough paddle and there is no instruction on an alternative way of mixing the dough. Wish there had been a print version to scroll through and refer back to. Huge waste of time and ingredients for us. Certainly wish it had worked! Another try another time maybe.
