"Siege Tanks do +40 damage to primary target!!!" *Clicks purchase immediately* "Shock Cannon does 75% less damage to friendly units!!" "AAAAAAND were broke." I'm fuckin dying.
+LowkoTV The transport is only mildly useful. It shits out units WAY faster than Medivacs and carries 30 slots worth of units. But the Predator is garbage, it's a fragile melee unit with a weak AoE secondary attack that's only really good against lings. As nice as the the CC reactor is, the automated refineries are WAY better. It saves you having to build 3 supply worth of SCVs PER geyser and lets you mine gas without a CC nearby. The only "downside" being they cost 100 minerals instead of 75. Also, you should have checked the Base upgrades in the Armory. The Orbital Command upgrade is now available. Plus the other upgrade is EXTREMELY good, it prevents your buildings from burning down and passively heals them to 50% for free.
+AndyH 1 I never even found a reason to use Thors in the campaign after the UNN mission. Mostly focused on Marines, Marauders, Medics, and Tanks. Lowko was right to jump on both tank upgrades that quick. They're arguably the 2 best armory upgrades in the campaign.
I M Ofage I like playing mech based army in campaigns. They tend to be a lot more fun to play with, especially when campaign enemy tend to not have the dps to instant kill your units and some sick pick micro can be done. Although this is still pretty useless unless you want to push out into enemy bases a lot. MMM siege tank tend to do really good otherwise. Tank smart shell is kinda expensive and I prefer diamondback vikings siegetanks
Remember that SCVs are also used for repairing, and on brutal the AI targets healers with higher priority. CC reactor also helps with replacing lost repairing SCVs.
take the automated refinery and at the armory you can buy the orbital command upgrade so that all your command center become orbitals. with does two upgrades you get all the resources you want for almost free.
Super handy for running a low SCV count while still getting lots of income. You can make a HUGE army that way. Really useful in the final mission. Make 2-3 extra orbital commands and spam mules alongside auto-refineries. It's pretty much the only way to survive on brutal if you do the anti-nydus mission instead of the anti-flyer mission.
that's actually an interesting way of doing it, that way ppl can free up so much supply and build more army. although double SCVs seems good overall, at 20 protoss research, the player should already finished most artifact missions, the rest of artifact missions does not have time or need to build enough scv to make the upgrade worth while. im pretty sure lowko can still beat final brutal no matter his tech choice tho.
"im pretty sure lowko can still beat final brutal no matter his tech choice tho." Haha, yes, I think you are right. Lowko always seems to make it no matter how non-optimal his strategies might be. That's a big part of what makes his videos great!
I'd be curious to see him pick the CC Reactor just because I've never seen it or tried it, but indeed having the extra supply via auto-refineries+MULES is very very useful on the final mission where 150 army supply by no means makes you totally safe!
Actually if Karass manages to live through the fight he tells Zeratul in the little cutscene after the last prophecy fragment to go an ahead and that he will stay back to delay Kerrigan which I find rly cool
Do the Zeratul missions back to back pls that is the best way to play them in my opinion. For your choice missions: do them after the final mission, that may make it so there are units you may miss, but that is still the cleanest way to do them
Zeratul; the space Ninja detective. Good work sticking it out to get all the research. That's the main point behind the Ihan Crystal missions, large amounts of research. They are shorter, easier missions that can give you a real advantage during the main campaign.
Lowko! I don't know if you will see this. First of all nice fight with Zeratul. But second: you should really consider doing all the protoss missions if you want to get big amount of resarch points to further advance your options as the terran ;)
*Although double SCV seems OP, Auto Refineries are also a very very good choice!* At the start of each map, just double gas, and if u have an expansion nearby, just go ahead with an SCV and build both refs over there too. It's like having 3 SCV in each refinery at minute 1 so you can dedicate all ur SCV to minerals. You wont need any more gas for the rest of the campaign ALSO, its 12 suply and 600 minerals u dont have to spend on SCV, Auto refs are so worth lowko!!
i know this is a few years later but XD A mix of bio and mech is S teir in this campaign. Marines, medics, fire bats, thors, and seige tanks can single handedly clear the last mission with fully upgraded turrets, predition turrets, the psi emmiter, and fully upgraded units. nothing can break through that wall of steel on hard mode. Love you lowko!
The SC1 Siege Tank does deal a lot more damage per shot (Up to 70, compared to up to 50 base vs armor, though I think it's 35 for both on unarmored. The armor system was a little different in SC1 also, but that's the gist of it), but has a much slower rate of fire (in both modes) and less of a splash radius. And of course pathing and relatively fewer effective counters makes it a bit deadlier too in its time. In a way though, that higher single shot damage is nicer for those times when an enemy just pokes in and you only get one shot off anyway - so in that sense the SC2 tank is almost a bit of a downgrade despite being better overall. In other news, the Nova mission is fun. Also check back on the "Base" tab in the armory... there might be a new surprise in there involving your Command Centers :) And lastly, doing all of the Zeratul missions now is very helpful because of the research bonus that will count towards your future Terran missions. I always do them all at once.
@lowko just FYI, the predator (mech doggo) is very gas heavy and not as tanky as the diamondback. Incase you were thinking of going mass doggo strat :D
It woud be great, if you'd also play alternate missions too Lowko. But you don't have to do it right now. Maybe just as a run up after main story is completed. And good job on finding last Hatchery :D
Yeah, Lowko. Do the Nova mission as well! It's great fun! It's one of those "dungeon crawl" missions you enjoy. (And honestly, neither choice of Nova vs Tosh affects the rest of the storyline. That's one thing I didn't really appreciate: Choices like that in WoL don't make a difference.)
36:36 There's a neat little trick I found with that third hatchery. As long as Zeratul can provide vision, the Stalkers can shoot up and hit the Roach Warren, possible even the hatchery itself. Zeratul can also provide the vision needed for the Stalkers to blink up from behind, effectively making a pincer attack. EDIT: I recommend the Hercules on the Zerg side of the research console. It makes the Moebius Factor easier. Plus, there's nothing the Predator can do that the Firebat can't do just as well, save for movement speed.
Really? Its spoiling... and what will you do if i say: minimum 15 people will point this out before that mission and what did i spoiled exactly? I just dont get it ;-) "have a nice day", btw im "convinced" you are patient and polite and not the person who becomes angry really fast.
You can save before a "chose one" mission, play the less liked one, load and play the more liked mission. So you can show to the public both missions and continue with the liked path.
Hi Lowko! I would like to thank you for the format of your comments. Important is that you speak during the cutscene. It would be cool if during all СG as well. It is a pity that you did not do this before. You really lose a lot - discussing events at the end of the video. Also do not forget secret on the 'Media Blitz' mission.
You forgot to click the blinking "Base" tab in the upgrade terminal, in case you want mules and scanner sweep you might want to open it up... Also you have a new souvernir from New Folsom hanging in your Cantina.
Lowko, if you want to know more about Zeratul's actions, you might check out the novels The Dark Templar Saga, a trilogy that focuses on the protoss race and the truth of the Xel'naga.
Actually, you get new entries on the Zerg and Protoss tanks when you unlock the next upgrade. Also, don't forget to check back at the console when you are at max research - Moebius guys will pay you 10k per each extra research point
We need to thank lowko or something for uploading another campaign video so quickly! Also, lowko I'm pretty sure you skipped over the orbital command in the "base" tab of the armory. Get that before you go back to Terran missions.
And this is, Ladies and Gentlemen, why WoL campaign is the best. It has the mini-capmaign inside the original one. *Spoiler* Plus the "bad-ending" mission - magnificent. P.S. Also, about that Zeratul hand wound. How he didn't managed to heal this during his campaign? C'mon, on his 3rd mission he had the entire army at his disposal!
Yeah I love zeratul! Please do all the protoss mision before finishing rest of the campaing. And about nova's mission, it doesnt matter when, but you should do it, it wont change anything you've done so far since the desition was already taken so why not, and the cutscene is cool.
Zeratul know that the xelnaga is retrying because he read various shrines and saw a lot of stuff. Kerrigan knows because she still has amon's influence. at 13:30, the prophecy engraved on stone in the temple depicted a fight between an ultralisk, a hydralisk and a zergling against 2 zealot and an archon and a pylon on the Protoss side. The rectangle may be the debris behind or a probe, with the image of a hybrid (hybrid destroyer most likely) towering above all. Also there is a engraving of a nexus under all the fighting scene So...the prophecy actually is about legacy of the void cinematic? Well, suck to be zeratul I guess
And I agree with some of the people here...you should do the crystal missions all first. They offer lots of research you can use for the main quest missions, but no upgrades you earn outside the crystal have any effect on missions in the crystal. So to have any use, you might as well do the crystal missions first.
Get the Hercules transport, put a few scvs inside for sick pick up and repair micro during fights. Or drop and pick up sieged up tanks like in coop with Swann. Automatic refineries might be a better choice as well, saves supply and can saturate gas instantly.
Just proceed with the Zeratul's missions for the zerg&protoss research, if you do those, Lowko, you will have more tech for the following terran missions and it will make them easier.
just saying that you can use void prison carefully to block a baneling in the choke of the approach, which make all of them stuck and cannot engage for a significant amount of time
Just remember Lowko, "The siege tank's shaped blast shell only works when shell isn't smarter than the shooter" - Taken from concept art book for Legacy of the Void Collector's Edition
That rock over there blocks my way! I must walk two feet to my left, and then four feet forward, so that I can swing my warp blade at a downward angle to cut the rock in two! Only then will my path be clear!
9:00 They missed such a big oppurtunity with HOTS and LOtV. They could jsut add a TV somewhere and you could watch the News. I loved the UNN comments and all that stuff. Just imagine a TV in the Leviathan inbound with tentacles and creep. Non of the smart Zerg know what its for but Kerrigan is like "Terrans send informationen for the population and its an easy way to gain intel about them, but mostly its to spread more lies."
I'd say take care of all the Protoss missions first before diving back into the campaign. I mean, that's basically free research right there. The last one is a little tricky since Protoss doesn't have shield batteries.
I think you should do at least a couple more Zeratul missions before returning to the main ones (for the research). I'm also a fan of playing the Nova mission (just for the cutscene after though, it's a funny one). As for the upgrades unlocked, I never got much use out of the Predator, so take the Hercules instead. Automated refineries will reduce your SCV count and can be built separate from a CC, so do that. And check the base upgrades in the Armory!
the herculees transport ship is OP it has the speed of medievac and the health of a battle cruiser it unloads at super high speed it carries as much as a doom drop and when it dies its passengers lives unlike in medievac and heres a secret: if you made a medic or 2 inside the medics will heal the other bio units inside its like a super medievac way better then those other units that you simply wont use
9:55 Raynor totally missed his chance to say "I'll TOSH you out the air lock".
CtG HOW HAVE I NEVER THOUGHT OF THIS OMG
"I'll PROtoss you out the airlock"
Zaxton Hong PRO-TOSH
A mod must be made to add the pro-tosh as the 4th race
@@meeperdudeify only spectres race sounds fun
"Siege Tanks do +40 damage to primary target!!!"

Worth every penny though, Siege Tanks are just too good!
Do all of these zeratul missions as fast as possible they are so great and they give alot of protoss and zerg research
... Zerathul?
end me.
Also you forgot to check the base upgrades in the armoury
They also don't get any benefits from lab/armory upgrades, so leaving them for later just makes main missions harder.
lasse frederiksen not when u miss a hatchery
but it would be boring to watch all of them in a roll!
25:03 - Kerrigan's sick micro skillz with that overseer.
lol
XD
wow. and it even flew away
Made my day
I agree with some people finish all of the mission from the Crystal first than continue with the main storyline
then*
Pls complete the zeratul missions first. U need the research
Alright, will do!
@LowkoTV Mercenaries DO get the upgrades from armory on their respective unit(siegetanks-siegebreakers)
COMPLETE ALL ZERATUL MISSIONS FIRST!!!!!!
+LowkoTV The transport is only mildly useful. It shits out units WAY faster than Medivacs and carries 30 slots worth of units. But the Predator is garbage, it's a fragile melee unit with a weak AoE secondary attack that's only really good against lings.

Hercules useless? Are you kidding me, you can drop + siege 10+ tanks in a base and claim it in 30 seconds
11:00 _Yes_ they do.
Seige Breakers with Maelstrom shells can one-shot anything short of an Ultralisk.
9:25 I litterally laughed my behind off think of Kerrigan sitting in an armchair, eating chips and watching the news on an infested TV. xD
take the automated refinery and at the armory you can buy the orbital command upgrade so that all your command center become orbitals. with does two upgrades you get all the resources you want for almost free.

I got triggered that Lowko let Karass Die before getting the last prophecy
I had never seen him die before he sacrifice himself for zeratul LOL
hahahahahahhaha thats the first time i ever seen karass die before the last shrine has been used
Tbf, he controlled that fight like a potato....
lowko you missed the glowing base icon in the armory

Now that I think about I’ve never seen the nova mission. So I would drop a like on that video!
It woud be great, if you'd also play alternate missions too Lowko. But you don't have to do it right now. Maybe just as a run up after main story is completed. And good job on finding last Hatchery :D
When i saw this mission for the first time it was really cool because you could play as protoss in the terran campign which was very cool.
I love this series cause since i cant stand to play the campaign again watching you play is amazing for me.
Definitely do the nova line
Bill Sun is it so good? I still have to do it myself... 😄
It's a fun micro mission, just like the Tosh one.
I find it funny how the story adjusts so that your choice is made to feel "good/right".
Do you know what I think is very sad?
Lowko is one of the best Starcraft 2-posting RUclipsrs(a very well known game) and yet he only has 278K subs
One of two Best Cutscenes in all StarCraft 2 Trilogy, second being Artanis fighting alone with Zergs. :)
Well Lowko, even though a lot of things died, and a lot of things that didn't need to die died too, at least you found that last hatchery! I'm proud-
i like to imagine that when youre a friend of lowko he always greets you with "its none other than here!"
OF COURSE you should do the Nova missions aswell!!! They are three really cool missions without bases... You will LOVE THEM!
These missions feel like watching Gandalf when he's separated from the Fellowship.
OMG Lowko doesn't take the orbital upgrade with mules! here i though Lowko loved Mules now thats a shoker
Please get Auto-Refineries. Also Do Nova Mission.
YES! Do the Nova Mission! You'll like it. No production, just micro. And go for the achievements.
36:36
There's a neat little trick I found with that third hatchery.
Plus, there's nothing the Predator can do that the Firebat can't do just as well, save for movement speed.
talking about secret missions, when you mess around with Odin (the big thor) make sure you unlock the secret mission bottom right
for fuck sake dont spoil
Lowko you could snipe last hatch from the low ground while revealing it with zeratul.
Thanks for vid btw.
Zeratul's secret ultimate move: infiltrates into other people's capital ships.
Hi Lowko! I would like to thank you for the format of your comments. Important is that you speak during the cutscene. It would be cool if during all СG as well. It is a pity that you did not do this before. You really lose a lot - discussing events at the end of the video. Also do not forget secret on the 'Media Blitz' mission.
The command center armory upgrades are available now btw. Get orbital fast obv
it is amazing how prescient this game was with the UNN broadcasts, Donnie.
Last protos mission is awesome in wings of liberty.
You forgot to click the blinking "Base" tab in the upgrade terminal, in case you want mules and scanner sweep you might want to open it up...
Also you have a new souvernir from New Folsom hanging in your Cantina.
Check your armory, the base site is highlighted, you can unlock Orbital command now
The face of Lowko when Karass died :D
Lowko, if you want to know more about Zeratul's actions, you might check out the novels The Dark Templar Saga, a trilogy that focuses on the protoss race and the truth of the Xel'naga.
i remember when i played In Utter "Darkness , i was literally raging first time playing it on brutal , not good with protoss myself.
Lowko has finished this mission fairly efficiently. I took 40 minutes to complete because I want all achievements, in hard.
Lowko, the protoss and zerg tanks advance whenever you unlock their next research upgrades.
Actually, you get new entries on the Zerg and Protoss tanks when you unlock the next upgrade.
Also, don't forget to check back at the console when you are at max research - Moebius guys will pay you 10k per each extra research point
I have played the Camping on Brutal dificulty(i loved it) and i love all thr characters and merchenary stuff :)
We need to thank lowko or something for uploading another campaign video so quickly!
Also, lowko I'm pretty sure you skipped over the orbital command in the "base" tab of the armory. Get that before you go back to Terran missions.
Also binge the Zeratule missions for the research.
Zeratul doesn't heal base HP!
Zeratul use to venture the galaxy like you! until he get hydralisked in the arm
Yeah I love zeratul! Please do all the protoss mision before finishing rest of the campaing. And about nova's mission, it doesnt matter when, but you should do it, it wont change anything you've done so far since the desition was already taken so why not, and the cutscene is cool.
The heart of the swarm story was never finished on lowkos channel or deleted
I would love to see the Nova missions. Please continue as you have though. I hate Nova in this campaign but love her everywhere else!
finish the crystal's mission first for the research points before the star map so that you can benefit from those extra research points
Also there is a engraving of a nexus under all the fighting scene

Nooo... where is Lowko tonight? :(
Gonna sub. I just got back into Starcraft 2 and was looking for people playing
+Lowko TV I used those siege breakers and boy do they rewl!! :)
You have a flashing base button
Yeah, do the Nova mission as well, the ending is the most funny scene in all of starcraft 2.
You also forgot to check the base upgrade.

tip for the final hatchery. let zeratul get vision of the hatchery than on the lowground north-east of it your stalkers can easly snipe it.
Dat cutscene though, Starcraft movie pls, more like a whole series in which the first episode lasts for 4-5 hours alone :D
That rock over there blocks my way! I must walk two feet to my left, and then four feet forward, so that I can swing my warp blade at a downward angle to cut the rock in two! Only then will my path be clear!

In this episode *Siege Tank Upgrades* TAKE MY MONEY!
i love how zertul called yenor old firend when they meet 4 years ago, and Zeratul himself certainly has lived over 300 years
I remember watching my dad play this mission when I was younger
Yes, try out the Nova mission, it's really fun
You could atack the 3rd hatchery with the stalkers from the lowground with zeratul provideing vision from the other side
FYI for the next Zerg research. The Predator is worthless and the Hercules is useful just once as unlike co-op, it cannot drop seiged up seige tanks.
I think you should do at least a couple more Zeratul missions before returning to the main ones (for the research). I'm also a fan of playing the Nova mission (just for the cutscene after though, it's a funny one). the herculees transport ship is OP it has the speed of medievac and the health of a battle cruiser it unloads at super high speed it carries as much as a doom drop and when it dies its passengers lives unlike in medievac and heres a secret: if you made a medic or 2 inside the medics will heal the other bio units inside its like a super medievac way better then those other units that you simply wont use
