I’ve been a Christian for years but I still don’t know what that means. Adam lived before the fall for years in a tropical Paradise. He walked with God literally had everything he wanted. God still thought that was not good and made Eve. Sure it’s all downhill from there but Christians say Jesus is all you need But life sure is better with a house food on the table and the wife and kids. Maybe a pool and a dog. I just don’t know what it means.

I agree, with so many ways for it to approach us, living in society with so many people and so much exposure to the evil of the world, we must always be alert, and it's not easy because there are days when we are exhausted from fighting with our own existence.

I have always known that God has a plan for those who seek him. Whether it's humble and quiet - to spectacular and life changing.
I have some understanding of my situation. For several years, I've wanted to pursue a project in a very dangerous place. I reckoned that step-by-step efforts will ultimately make change. This wasn't a blind process. I did due diligence by research and more research.
God understands my persistence and has quietly diverted me. From a danger zone to one of my own- a fellow citizen unjustly condemned to a life sentence.
What I know with certainty, all things are done on God's time. It is for His glory at His time. I am learning to be still and wait on the Lord.
