@@AdriancaguSure but championships were alot shorter back then and its been 70 years, there have been so many other drivers able to win races without winning championships in those years, its quite a feat
Well assuming Max wins quite a few races in 2024 he probably have 65-70 wins by the end of the season and also assuming Red Bull remains top dog for next season (last season before new rules?), where he probably wins about 10 races, if not more he should be near to 80 by end of 2025. If Max keeps racing about 10 more years he will easily beat those records assuming he is on competitive car.
Funny how Max was not even on the table until he got his Red Bull seat. Categorically proves it's the car and definitely not the driver. Another Sebastian Vettel one trick pony. When he no longer has the dominant cars, his wins will dry up and he will be forgotten (notice also that his Dad never even made the list).
Why the earlier times F1 Driver were so old. Look all like 50+ or something. Oh boy, when the first time the face of MS came, and you know he will kill them all. But the real GOAT from what i see here is Prost. He is tge only one of the older drivers who can catch up with the extrem pilots from todays time. What a beast.
Nice video, but you need to synchronized it better, it is hard to pin point in what race what win, for example Verstappen at the end, 53 or 54 is abu dhabi (i know which one, but at 53 still shows abu dhabi)
Since 2010 it hasn't mattered much who the driver was. If you weren't in the dominate car at the time. You raced for 2nd place. Ask any of the drivers of those times, except Vettel, Hamilton(Rosberg) and Verstappen. Vettel - four in a row. Hamilton - 6 times, with Rosberg winning once, but in the same car as Hamilton. And Verstappen - 3 times in a row, so far. That's Red Bull winning 50% of the races in the last 14 years. And until F1 stops Verstappen and Red Bull. That percentage is going to go much higher.
Yeah, hard to argue with that. F1 Dominance is probably good for whoever is dominating but it sure as hell makes for a super dull viewing experience. I liked it better when any one of about 6 or 8 drivers could win. Maybe, just maybe, Lando Calrissian using the force last week in the McLaren Falcon is a sign things are changing and the rest are finally catching up. I hope so.
@@morebasheder I can't prove it. But I would bet a large amount of money that in recent times, when one team completely dominates(Mercedes. Red Bull). It's billion dollar entertainment business.
Because if we look at any stat other than champinship wins and total wins, Max is superior. Most wins in a season(19/22), highest in season win % (84%), longest win streak (10) currently on a 7 win streak (Hamiltons longest was 5), youngest race winner, youngest ever F1 driver, much better pole to win ratio (lewis has more poles than wins, Max has 32 poles to 54 wins). Max has 3 championships from 9 seasons same as Hamilton, but unless we get Checo embodying the Rosberg gene, or Ferrari build a decent car AND fix stratgy, we're getting a 4th Verstappen title in a row.
With a new regulaitions and a car built specific ly to fit his drivning style whlie everybody else missed ut entirly it's not hard to do that. But he has still only done it in one car. Hamilton has done it with Maclaren and Mercedes. IMO he still have a bit to prove.
@@dennistofvesson6351 You can't seriously be saying new regulations when Hamiltons dominance literally came because of the engine regulations changing in 2014. 2014 to 2016 Merc only fought Merc, 2017 Hamilton cruised to victory unopposed, 2018 Vettel bottled it, 2019 Ferrari's illegal car, 2020 another unchallenged season. So pray tell, what is your point?

He’s still young. Though you can look at athletes in other sports and they peaked early and flattened out later on. Tiger Woods comes to mind. Injuries and personal problems have plagued him for the last 10 years. He’s still one of the all time greats in his sport but we all assumed he would obliterate every record in golf. Max might get to 8 or more championships and we’ll over 100 career wins but we can’t assume he will win at this pace going forward. He’s got at least 10 more years, longer if he wants to keep racing. He also started very young, that helps a lot too. Lebron James skipping college and going straight to the NBA gave him an advantage over players like Kareem that went to college for 4 years.
He would have had many more wins but nowhere near Schumacher or Hamilton. He wouldn’t have raced long enough to get that many wins. Probably would have retired at about 40. I’m guessing maybe about where Max is now.

If he keeps up that pace for next few years..., I am afraid only regulation changes in 2026 can stop that
