Glad to have you watching Grizzlies games. Although you're here for Edey, which I'm stoked on, I think you'll like his fit, and the team as a whole. These guys are hard working respectable players that aren't as young anymore. It's nothing like the media portrays and I'm born and still live in NC

I was so excited to talk about Zach Edey, I forgot to mention how he fought two Jazz players off of a Grizzlies missed free throw for a putback to send the game to overtime.
No idea why people were "skeptical" about a 7'4'' guys with decent mobility, good hands, rim protection and a ton of experience being "NBA ready". If Rudy Gobert's clumsy, one-dimensional self can make tens of millions, so can Zach Edey.

Ain't nobody hating on Edey bruh....he is with the perfect team for his skill set. I plan on him being the ROTY and winning multiple chips with this core
About four months ago, the popular belief online was that he was only playing exceptional in college basketball because of his size. Comparisons were being made to Luka Garza as far as the expected drop-off in success from college to the NBA. I didn't agree with that opinion back then, but was still skeptical because his initial level of NBA success would heavily depend on which team drafted him. Edey being in Memphis is best case scenario for him and I'm glad he got drafted there.
