I did something similar to my 4060 LP. 900mv +255 +500mhz on memory Temps dropped around 15c in a 30c degree room One tip for AM5 users on a budget A620 board. Since these processors tend to run to TJMax and AMD states it is normal, if you are not comfortable with the temps, you can go into bios and change the TJMax to the degree of your choice. Here are my results: TJ MAX 80C - maintains 76C CPU-Z stress test score 5500 TJ MAX 70C - maintains 70C CPU-Z stress test score 5450 TJ MAX 60C - maintains 60C CPU-Z stress test score 5250 The TJ MAX value to score ratio will depend on the cooling potential of the cooler. It is worth trying out on your 5600, hopefully you get even better results!
Undervolt is great, summer incoming so i dropped the voltage down 0.15mV on my RTX2080, around 50w less powerdraw, -600rpm on the fans and still 10-15c drop in both gpu and hotspot temp. The preformance drop is there but you can only see it in a benchmark.
Noctua just released their home series fans, including one for devices. Should be able to put two on top of this case wonder if it would help the temps?
What should i look for to undervolt best? Is it quality power stages on mobo? I prefer losing no or minimal gaming performance, and just wanna keep things as cool as can be for mini itx with high end parts
Run a gpu benchmark, note down the stable frequency, then decrease voltage in increments whilst running a benchmark. If it crashes, then go back to either the previous voltage when it was last stable or the one before that.
I'm planning to build a similar pc, but since your video doesn’t show any gameplay footage with the fan noise. I’m considering replacing the CPU cooler with either the Be Quiet Pure Rock LP or the Noctua NH-L9a-AM5 let me know which one of these Cpu cooler is the quietest. My goal is to minimize noise or make the PC as silent as possible
@@JammyMunkyTech yessir that’s the plan although I got a question 🙋♂️ if I use a fan splitter to use normal pc case fans instead of USB, will I be able to use them as normal and will need a controller or will they be controlled from bios/ working automatically accordingly to the needs ex temp inside etc? I know it’s dumb question 😂
Just do an undervolt because that's gonna look tacky. I was looking at a case on AliExpress that's 5.1L that you can put two fans at the top and being an half inch wider in WxDxH it can take a taller cooler but the shipping makes it expensive. From the specs you can use a gpu like this and the 4060 lp might be a tight fit. It's the SIXGE K2S V2.0
I'm putting together a build similar to yours for my mother, mainly for work, streaming, and browsing. I'm planning to use a CPU with integrated graphics to keep the temperatures manageable and since she doesn't game, an extra GPU isn't necessary. Initially, I considered the Deepcool CH160 case, but I'm wondering if I can go even smaller. What are your thoughts on this plan?
I did this same build with your video, except the power supply is a fsp flexguru pro 500w and my gpu is a pny rtx 3060 xrl8. Different ram,mb and ssd, but it is not so important. In my case, what parameters could I use for my 3060? Thanks
Run a benchmark on your card for 5mins. Find out what the core clock and voltage stabilises at. Note down the figures and use them as a starting point in afterburner. i.e. My GPU was stable at 2535mhz at around 1000mV Whilst running a benchmark, in increments decrease voltage until it crashes, then go back to the voltages previously before the crash and run that for a few minutes. If stabilised then great. e.g. My GPU at 2535mhz was stable at 900mV Or you can try this: ruclips.net/video/gH8y67-7NBE/видео.htmlsi=ZQXHy8tNpNe8IP2V However is it best to run your own benchmark as every 3060 card may vary in performance.
The Velka 3 case is a 3.99 liter case and this one is 4.3 liters. The biggest difference may be the case material but the Velka will hit you for about $160 with no riser cable and this one comes with a gen 3 riser cable so you'll still need to get a gen 4 but the case and riser will cost the same as the Velka by itself.
i built this exact setup but used a r7 5700g since i didnt wanna use a gpu. im runinng 60-70c and it feels really warm out of my case( warm plastic smell. can i undervolt an apu? i tried to use ryzen master but it says my cpu isnt supported. please help thanks

Fantastic info on undervolt the cpu & gpu. Thanks. I was wondering if you will do another undervolt lesson on Intel cpu. Cheers!
Can I fit another lower gpu in this?? 🙃
Yes
do the undervolting applications have to be opened or running in the background the whole time for them to take effect?
Yes, but you configure it in the bios so you don’t have to use the apps
@@JammyMunkyTech does that apply for both cpu and gpu undervolts?

Is there space for 1 or 2 Noctua 40mm fans inside? Above the gpu and/or the other side?

why not mod the case for better air flow?

It’s saved, it’ll load every time the pc is turned on if you set msi afterburner to open on startup
