Hey Alaskan do some research on luffy he is pretty powerful. He is extremely durable and immune to regular physical attacks and lightning due to the fact he is made out of rubber. And he can use and skill called armament haki that's why goffus hands looked like they covered in gloves or metal. Its a spiritual armor that can be manifested into a hard like metal substance anywhere on the body that hurts more than just the outside body. Also he can use an attack called red hawk that causes his arm to emit fire while using his haki, and if you combine that with compressing a spirit bomb that's over kill. This Battle would have been one of the most difficult ones to figure out, not even Death Battle could give you a clear answer on that. Cause not only do you have to calculate the Abilities of 4 Characters, but also how well they Augument eachother. For example... Luffy's immunity against Electricity and heavy resistance to physical damage, added to Goku's "Ki Shield", or Superman and Thor's Durability added together, those are things that are amost impossible to properly calculate. Though, in the end i would always give it to SuperThor. (though, it depends on what Superman would be used in the fusion)

People seem to be missing one of the biggest detail in the video Akasan reacted to, there is no logical reason on how Goffu won, there was no studdy in the characters, the victory of the character was 100% decided by the people's decision, over 70% of the fan base voted for Goffu to win, so Cartoon Hooligans made a fun, epic animation to have everyone enjoy, this fight is not dependent on anything other than the majority of the fan's decision, so why complain on how it doesnt make sense or seems unreasonable of how the character won or loss?

even though I'm pretty sure they started working on this before the most recent episodes of Dragon Ball Super, Goku's clash of fists with Beerus threatened to destroy the entire universe and their ki blasts merged at one point and basically created a star. So theoretically Goku would have to drop his power down to Luffys level. So basically it's Luffy times Luffy in terms of power. But ability wise i think Goffu has them beat. Superman IS mortal, Thor is the god. And technically, since they appear to be using Goku's ssjgodssj hair, then Goffu is a god as well. There's a lot of things to consider. First off, for the costume, I understand they had to add something of luffy's, but they're using the fusion dance, which would give them a VERY specific costume, as opposed to the potara earrings, which would mix their outfits. Anyway, it's hard to gauge power. Infinite power only means your power can increase to any amount, it doesn't mean you automatically beat anyone, at least if they finish you off before your power rises above theirs. Goku alone would just let Superman get as strong as he wants, but in this case, he's mixed with Luffy, so maybe not. As far as power goes, ssjgod Goku is on the brink of being a universe buster(him and Beerus almost destroyed the universe in DBS episode 12/13), and that's just in ssjgod. In ssjgodssj, who knows? I'm disappointed in this show; Not in the fact that I didn't like it, but in the fact that victories of the characters are determined solely on those character's popularity. While Luffy was a new addition to the goku vs superman debate, luffy's strength can't hold a candle to superman or thor in raw unparalleled strength. However, luffy is by no means weak, his' abilities possible giving him a chance against someone like thor one on one. But, in a battle of synergy with other characters, when paired up against Superman, nobody, not even Thor, can stand against the man of steel without some kind of edge. As both luffy and goku do indeed have limits that they can overcome, but when put up against someone with NO limits, they will ultimately lose.

Luffy's strongest move is Jet Red Hawk Elephant Gatling Gun. He does Gomu Gomu no Elephant Gatling, then finishes off with Gomu Gomu no Red Hawk. Goffu could beat Superthor because Goffu can't be harmed by electricity and Normal punches, Superman also got weaker because of thor. Thor can't take punches by Goku, and probaly Luffy too and i think Goku can lift Thor's Hammer because he is Worthy. He saved the world many times and got it destroyed too.
luffy is made of rubber, Physical attacks don't hurt him and he is immune to electricity so thor does shit. Also luffy has Haki which essentially increases his damage. Along with Goku's ability to increase his damage. I can see why he might come out the victor. Glad to see superman lose for a change.
basically, Luffy is the ultimate brawler since he's made out of rubber. Punches and bullets no matter how strong won't work against him along with electricity. Luffy already beat a guy similar to super thor in One Piece and that was earlier on when he was still weak.
Both Superman and Thor have survived Supernova's there would be NO attack that would hurt or kill SuperThor.
And the Hammer would literally squash them. Even if Luffy is immune to blunt attacks, just drop the hammer on em, and burn them to death with heatvision.

even though I'm pretty sure they started working on this before the most recent episodes of Dragon Ball Super, Goku's clash of fists with Beerus threatened to destroy the entire universe and their ki blasts merged at one point and basically created a star. I'm not sure if it would be enough, but they're starting to give Goku a lot more feats. Curious to see just how far they'll take it.

Luffy makes goku immune to ligthning, basically immune to blunt damage because he stays has tanky but with a rubber body kinda like buu and also gives goku the ability to harden his fists beyond his fleshy limit.

So theoretically Goku would have to drop his power down to Luffys level. So basically it's Luffy times Luffy in terms of power. But ability wise i think Goffu has them beat. Rubber counters lightning, and Luffy being made of rubber makes him way more durable. Also Goku can utilize Ki into destructive blasts, Instant Transmission is also instant teleportation. Not to mention his fighting ability. Where as the Superman they used is young supe from Batman v Superman and the Thor from the movies. So in a way they were nerfed in this fight. Superman may eventually beat Goku but no matter whats said i still will always believe Luffy is a direct Counter to everything thor has. Rubber beats Lightning and unless you utilize Haki (ki, chi, chakra, any form of life force energy similiar to which i just named) you cant really hurt him cuz He's made of rubber from devil fruit powers in his respected universe. Where as Haki is the only counter. A form of life force and or willpower type energy commonly depicted in Shonen Style anime/manga. Iron fist can definitely hurt him since he uses the power of chi. Superman IS mortal, Thor is the god. And technically, since they appear to be using Goku's ssjgodssj hair, then Goffu is a god as well. There's a lot of things to consider. First off, for the costume, I understand they had to add something of luffy's, but they're using the fusion dance, which would give them a VERY specific costume, as opposed to the potara earrings, which would mix their outfits. Anyway, it's hard to gauge power. Infinite power only means your power can increase to any amount, it doesn't mean you automatically beat anyone, at least if they finish you off before your power rises above theirs. Goku alone would just let Superman get as strong as he wants, but in this case, he's mixed with Luffy, so maybe not. As far as power goes, ssjgod Goku is on the brink of being a universe buster(him and Beerus almost destroyed the universe in DBS episode 12/13), and that's just in ssjgod. In ssjgodssj, who knows? And then you consider fusion. The potara earrings were stated in the, "Super Exciting Guide", to be multiplication. So, Goku TIMES Luffy. I assume the fusion dance would work in the same way. Of course then, you'd have to find some way to apply mathematical equations to both characters to figure out what, "Goku X Luffy", would be. Many fans say Luffy is immune to lightning, due to being rubber, or something like that. Lightning can melt rubber, so..... Not to mention, SuperThor doesn't JUST have lightning. Honestly, to me, it's a toss up. I like Goku, so i'm goin' with Goffu.

I'm disappointed in this show; Not in the fact that I didn't like it, but in the fact that victories of the characters are determined solely on those character's popularity. While Luffy was a new addition to the goku vs superman debate, luffy's strength can't hold a candle to superman or thor in raw unparalleled strength. However, luffy is by no means weak, his' abilities possible giving him a chance against someone like thor one on one. But, in a battle of synergy with other characters, when paired up against Superman, nobody, not even Thor, can stand against the man of steel without some kind of edge. As both luffy and goku do indeed have limits that they can overcome, but when put up against someone with NO limits, they will ultimately lose.
