This is one of the few non-combat scenes that made my jaw drop. So beautiful, so hype.
absolutely yes. I'd say this clip is one of the best scenes in the series. Actually made me tear up. Genuine straw hat moments with all the crew members present have been rare. That along with top notch animation, epic reference to Oden, the final shot with the cups...perfection.
This , nothing happened , raizo is safe , one piece is real , I want to live , goodbye merry , arlong park walk , sogeking's speech , god ussop , luffy starving and staying on the ground in The rain during the whole cake island are the most iconic moments in one piece

The build up of Jimbei's toast of welcoming, cancelled by Kin'emon and immediately the spotlight was directed at them samurais. The Raid to Onigashima Battle Cry under Kin'emon's command gave me goosebumps all over. Then Jimbei and all crew drops their cups and that godly animation. This episode is so special in any angle. Thank Ishitani for making us fans feel so attached. It hooks me everytime and claim that One piece is truly a Masterpiece.

Episode 1000 will be directed by KOHEI KURETA. He was the director for episode 978 when law, kid and luffy took down the ship.

This whole show was a movie itself
Wano Arc animation has been consistently beautiful. Toie can really do it if they just wanted to. Undoubtedly it will be one of the most important event in the history of anime for sure.
The toast being interrupted and having the focus shift to Kin'emon and the others seems to have made Luffy think "It's great that Jimbei's back. It really is. But this moment ain't about us."
So he postponed the toast out of respect.
they should let Megumi Ishitani just take over the series please I beg of you her episodes are always the highlights of the year

As a one piece fan that speedran the whole 900 eps in 2 weeks..... I can say that all OP fans had dreamt of being a member of Strawhats at least once😍😍😍
That's insane. I caught up in middle school when it only had 500 eps that shit still took me six months. I rewatched Amazon lily-marineford in high school and that took me at least a fourth the time it took you to watch 900. Shit man rewatching all 140 episodes of hunter x hunter last year still took me months. That's incredible lol
Also the one piece world is so cruel and deadly that whilst being a strawhat would be cool I wouldn't wanna live in the op world unless I was guaranteed to be a top tier fighter cause I and most of us would die real quick in that universe. Even if we use one piece physics where usopp can get hit in the head with a few ton bat and survive I doubt most of us would be much better. I got a handicapped coordination. My small motors and general hand eye coordination are shit. Even if I was a strawhat if I didn't die right away the amount of pain I'd get into just being on that crazy crew and fighting top tier baddies would be insane. The SH and most people in the one piece universe go to hell and back just to survive out on the sea. Full of pirates unpredictable weather and crazy wild beasts that can capsize and destroy any unprepared crew of sea fairers. Not so much in the blues but even the blues have sea monsters that'll kill normal folk just for leaving the island. I doubt dawn Island is the only island in the four blues that have minor sea beasts guarding it and pirates out for loot exist everywhere. The one piece world is insanely deadly it's downright ironic how few people actually die in the non flashback story.
@Montana Schmidtbauer Well, all I did when Covid quarantine started was to watch the Big 3 since I never got the chance bcoz of school stuff so I finished Naruto, Bleach and One piece for like a whole 1 and half months. Watching all day 9am - 11pm. Plus I was watching one piece on 2x or 2.5x speed.
@@mohammadamina.baniaga3869 2 to 2.5 speed helps. I hope the soundtrack still holds up at 2x speed. Some banger moments are greatly accentuated by it. Later on in the series tho I imagine 2.5 would be so helpful. The anime starts padding so much after the timeskip and it never really stops only fluctuated between various levels of annoyance.
I hope you decide to read the manga. I couldn't myself wait for it to be animated when more one piece content is out there and after going through it a few times I've found it's so much faster. 1044 19 page average chapters is a lot less time than 1015 24 minute eps. Even with 6 minute recap sometimes and 2 and a half minute opening 14 to 18 minutes of content a thousand times over versus a roughly equivalent amount of pages 1000 times over, it doesn't take a full minute to read a single page. One piece will adapt 3 panels in 3 minutes. It's a time saver. Although I do still keep up with the anime. Wano is incredible even if it gets padded and the raid on onigishima could use some padding so there's a lot to hope for for filler that's also kinda Canon in the next years worth of anime production.
