Many animanga authors use blood siblings or adopted siblings for their stories, but it's rare things when some author put a sworn brothers and their relationship is more than blood brothers like ASL

Can you imagine? that is exactly how Luffy felt until Sabo found Luffy. To Luffy, he helplessly saw Sabo get blown up and helplessly watched Ace die infront of him.
I feel bad for Hibou reacting here the most. If I remember correctly, he lost someone he thought of as a brother around the time he watched this. So it hurts

the fact that luffy was trying to keep it all together to not worry his crewmates even after 2 years but immediately broke down in front of sabo. hurts a lot
