Then, it was one that ended the bond and brought one lost back into the fold by remembering the action that brought them together. Sabo reading the words Sakazuki and Ace in the headline were the triggers that were necessary to regain his memories, and it all overwhelmingly came back to him until he lost consciousness. This happened the same week that Luffy was knocked out, which means both brothers were incapacitated at the same time due to Ace's death. It's these kinds of details and easter eggs that make Oda a master storyteller.

Oda just to add suffering made a special what if manga where Sabo actually goes to marineford to help luffy save Ace and they manage to rescue him alive
As if feeling sad for Ace wasn't enough, as if feeling bad for Garp wasn't enough, as if feeling destroyed for Luffy wasn't enough, we also gotta hurt for Sabo! 😭
This scene always makes me tear up for Sabo. His memories finally come back, and not only is it because he found out one of his brothers is dead, but he also knows Luffy must be suffering just as much, if not worse, and he can't do anything to help.
This literally broke me Knowing that 1 brother was devastated cuz ace died in front of him and did everything he could but Clint save him And another brother who got his memory back at the worst time and broke
One brother had to live with the fact did all he could and was too incapable While, the other brother had to live with the fact that he couldn't do a single thing about it.
Idk how was that feels when you lost someone when you have an amnesia like sabo, but i do know what that feels when you lost someone when you're not around your family,,,, I've lost my father cause of Corona, and he die in quarantine hospital when i was sleep (it happens in midnight and after i come home from work), it's heartbreaking tho, i almost lost my sanity, even I'm still crying when i use some my father's old stuff, i still thinking why god didn't take my life at first,,, so my point is, i exactly know what Hibou's feeling after react this scene
Ace had to soak that punch to save Luffy. If it wasn't for that Ace would have been a very tough opponent even for admiral. He was on par with Akainu like how he vaporized his ice easily.
@@tarikizgua1835 he had i also saw his backstory with whitebeard but he didn't use it that time and as you saw sabo his haki was shown to us when he was 17 in colour (Black haki for armament) and in Ace case they didn't show that
@@BlackShadow-nm5bw Back when Ace died, Oda still didn't use black to showcase Haki. There were several instances of people using it and it not showing. It was simply a case of Ace's haki being weaker than Akainu's, or Ace being taken by surprise for defending his brother.

For those that don’t know Hibou (top middle) lost his brother so this entire arc Anything with Sabo tore him apart, I feel for him man

Ace didn't had haki but sabo had armament and observation haki and dragon claw aswell so i don't think that would have happened
