When it comes to roasting lamb on a spit or underground, Istanbul is the Rolls Royce class in comparison. I'm so amazed with the wood fire ovens & charcoal grills but that underground oven is officially 1st class state-of-the art winner!! The way it's engineered using a pulley crane & zipline is pure innovation handling levels of racks of selected meats is genius. The meatballs looks so delicious & satisfying omgoodness!! If the world's peace can hold out, then I plan to visit Turkey in 2026 on my way to Azerbaijan. I love Turkish food, and grew up myself on Mediterranean food, as my family is Sicilian.

Thank you for video❤❤❤❤❤
This is amazing,it's really a meat heaven, thank you mark for this beautiful vedio.
I am a vegetarian and I'm craving that kebab! Thanks Mark!
Turkey has numerous vegetarian and vegan dishes. Mark is not into vegetables. Lol
Despite the terrible guide who was in your Izmir vlog, Ugur didn't disappoint and once again he took you to the really unique places just like he did in Gaziantep food tour. I even didn't know about the kofta place. I will definitely give a visit to that place in my next Istanbul trip. Great video!
