    Great vid. Most to the point demonstration / instructions for the unit I've found thus far. I have always used Mistking systems for the monitoring of my PDF & RETF terrariums but used Inkbird for my home-brewing, fermenting, brewstand wort recir. and mashing. At any rate, I'll give the ITC-608T a go on my new PDF terrarium in an attempt to bring everything "under one roof " so to speak. Thanks again for the great Vid.
    One extra item with regards to the temp probe. I have my probe slid down to the end of an 20" piece of 5/16" SS tubing (with a dab of die-electric grease) that's been sealed on one end to make it water (beer) proof and it's worked flawlessly for several years with -0- incidents.

      I was very impressed with the quality and versatility of this controller. I found out you can add a submersible probe so I ordered one and will be testing that as well.

    How do you turn it on? Does it come on as soon as it is plugged in? I am trying to find out if mine is broken, just bought it used.

    Would be awesome if you could use a splitter and have one plug handle heat/cool and the other handle humidity/dehumidify lol

    Andrew I was told that you can use the 608 for heating 2 heat mats it came with 2 heating probes is this possible

      Sorry I just saw this! I'm pretty sure that is correct but I'm not sure how it uses the sensors to determine which outlet turns on or if they both come on. I'd have to play around with mine again and see.

    according to their website tempature probe is waterproof

    • @silvercityreef6385
      @silvercityreef6385  4 года назад

      And a lot of people have used it that way but it was easy enough to swap with submersible probe and now there's definitely no concern of any problems.

    Great video although I don't know of any humidifiers that go right to work after turning them off and on again, I have two and they both need to be turned on... This controller now doesn't meet my needs I Geuss

      find one with a dial/knob as an on and off switch. A air innovations mh-408 will work.

    Very confusing. Going from temp to heating to cooling to compressor to humidity etc.. You can push buttons faster that I can follow what you are doing and why. I just want to set my controller to turn my little heater on and off in my greenhouse. I want it to come on at 35 degrees and turn off at forty degrees. It's like wanting to know to set the alarm on my clock and watching a video on how to build a clock.

    inkbird's developers need to go back to school to learn to put "T" for temp not this E with the top line of it missing, Anybody wandering why they DIDN'T put out a video?? I guess they didn't want to show just how complicated/confusing there screen icons are. Hoping to see if this thing works once I ever get it programed
