    Thank you for your recipe. Kolasittar is my fav Swedish snack. While I was watching your video, I was wondering if I don't have dark syrup, what would be a good substitute.

    Any substitution for molasses😊?

      You could replace it with honey or golden syrup but it will be lighter in color and won’t have the same caramel flavor. Still tasty though!

      Most recipes for kolasnittar use ljus sirap (golden sugar beet syrup). It gives the cookies a beautiful toffee-like flavor.

    these cookies should not get crisp... if you make em crisp you have failed. They should be chewy and flexible but not too much so. It's darn hard unless your a grandma... I am still working on learning the art myself. xD
