    Even if we knew the tips you are giving, it's nice to hear them again, like it stays fresh in our minds. Thank youuuu, love you and your channel!

    As a swede working abroad, I stumbled onto your channel about two months ago. I instantly followed you because not only do you do amazing cakes/cookies/pies etc, but I love your personality. That you're so laid back in your videos. :) And when I'm back "home" in Sweden for a few days in two weeks, I'll have to try to bake some of your goodies.

      I have genuinely told many of my friends about this comment because I don’t think they would describe me as “laid back” hahaha but I love it!! Thank you for the kind words 🥰

    I need a cute bundt pan like this! I'd say I'm an advanced home baker? I've never attempted croissants or sourdough bread at home, but otherwise I bake pretty much anything like cake, cookies, milk bread, cardamom buns, egg tarts, pies, etc!

    For the frozen berries, I forgot to mention that I live in New Mexico, USA.

    Looks delicious! How much does this cake feeds?
    And on you website you write that I can substitute the whole berries with jam. How much will that be in this case?

    Can you recommend where one might find frozen lingonberries. By the way, I have been baking for more than 70 years and I STILL push the adequacy of the sizes of my baking vessels. I believe that under estimating the size of bowls, etc. necessary for cooking is a flaw which cannot be overcome. You should resign yourself. It is unlikely ever to get any better. I’m glad that I can no longer count the times that I had to pour a pot of soup into a larger pot (occasionally using
    even three pots).

    Do you reckon we can use freeze dried lingonberries if fresh are not available?

    • @ceciliatolone
      @ceciliatolone  2 года назад

      I think you could though I haven’t tried it. If you do add maybe another 40g milk to compensate for the lost liquid.

      @@ceciliatolone great idea! I also have some dried lingonberries. Maybe I could try using those? Anyhow, I love all the delicious Swedish treats you bake! My grandma was a Swede, and I’m always trying to learn all that so can about my family roots. Including making and eating their food. Thanks for sharing!

      @@NatureGirl1932 I have seen many americans use cranberry jam instead of lingonberry jam. So maybe you can use frozen cranberries?
      You could also try redcurrants, but I am unsure if you have those?

    I literally ordered frozen lingonberries and had them shipped to me! I’m so excited to make this cake. I have to ask, where did you find your Bundt Cake Pan? I love it! I’ve been searching all over and can’t find one like 🤷‍♀️…

      @@ceciliatolone I lucked out and found the exact Bundt cake pan that you have, on Etsy. I baked it and it was sooooo good! Some of my husband’s family weren’t sure how they felt about the taste cardamom, but I LOVE iT (probably because it’s in my Swedish DNA to love it). I think the lingonberries and cardamom together are perfect! I’ll definitely be making it again very soon!

    I love your videos. We can't get lingon berry here or I would make that. Cranberry are really bitter. Thanks for all you do. Amazing!....hmmm could you sub raspberry or cherry for the lingon berry?

    • @ceciliatolone

      You could definitely sub raspberries! Just make sure they are frozen!

    • @ceciliatolone
      @ceciliatolone  2 года назад +1

      You could also add in craisins I think. Just hydrate them in some hot water for 30 minutes before you add them in (just the hydrated craisins not the liquid)

      I think blueberries would work as well. Blueberries are probably slightly sweeter than lingonberries. Cranberries may need to be chopped, but would be nice and tart as well as beautifully red.
